i am so confused my doctors say they dont know what is wrong so now just say oh you have chronic pain we think. but i dont understand why when i had my MRI why they said they thought i should be having a brain scan can anybody help me with this or give me any advise? i am so stressed out with all this i know something is not right i know my know body but its as if know body wants to find out know that they have put down that it maybe chronic paini would be so greatful if someone could explain

Have you been scratched or bitten by an animal?  Animals carry a virus that will caus this symptoms.  Lyme disease is a virus that will also caus similar symptoms.  Eating the right foods will help with your symptoms.  Veggies and fruits.  Avoid Sugar and dairy!! Eggs will caus inflammation too

I started to accept i have a diagnose for FIbromyalgia as it is. I was diagnosed by a Newrologist and my symtoms are very similar to the people in FIbromyalgia Groups. SO whoever has chronic pains or diagnosed Fibromyalgia or any related disorder should go to Fibro facebook groups. Bye. God bless you from Brazil.

I also have the same symptoms except pain on face, I had done my thyroid level test uric acid test and so many test..bt all are normal and my doctor was confused and finally confirmed as FM.. but they told me that there is no specific treatment for this and I have to change my life style... Some months later I decided to consult another doctor he asked me to check my vit D levels but unfortunately it was only 3 and he prescribed me the supplements... Now I have my D level 20 and it's normal level is above 30..i hope after completing the supplements I will be better... So my request to all those who have the same symptoms must check their D level...

Hi- i have same symptoms. Found something that said to try a B1, B5, B6.

I started a B50 complex. And it has literally changed everything in a week!

Ive been having bad left side sijd for years. In January 2018 i rotated pelvis and ive had severe left side head to toe pain. Spasms. Severe hardening of muscles.

Ive done pelvic PT to realign pelvis. And over 1000 may be 2000$ in massage since january. Pain meds. Anti-inflammatory med. Stretching daily. Pool daily. Everything. Nothing has helped so much until i started this B50 complex vitamin. Get at your local pharmacy and ask doctor before trying. But it's made a dramatic change!!!! Also i have diagnosis of fibromyalgia, myalgia, chronic pain. Hypersensitivity. Ect.

I posted a response to this thread a year or two ago and thought I would give an update as it may help someone. This may not be the exact same thing that the original poster or others are going through but I hope this can help at least someone who has the same issue as me.

I will break my symptoms down from the beginning. This all started for me around 6-7 years ago. I started to get what I could only describe as what I felt was like shooting pain/tingling along the entire left side of my body. The pain was only affecting my left side. Not the entire left side of my body but in a very specific pattern.

Breaking my pain/tingling down from head to toe was as follows:

    1. Left sided headache (on the exterior)
    2. left side of face was tingling
    3. left side of my tongue was tingling
    4. Pain that felt like it originated in my left shoulder blade area but would shoot to my left collarbone back of left arm (tricep) and to the last two smallest fingers on my left hand
    5. Pain under my left rib in the splenic flexure area
    6. a shooting sciatica type pain that shot down the back of my left leg and into my smaller toes

I will explain more on this later

The best way I could describe the pain I was having was like a chronic sharp shooting pain that during the day would be a 5/10 on the pain scale and would shoot up to a 7 or 8/10 on the pain scale for a few seconds and then back to a 5/10.

So I explained these symptoms to all of my doctors and went for multiple MRIs of my brain and spine. I also did blood tests and all diagnostic testing anyone could think of to rule out MS, vitamin B12 (which I originally thought this issue was), lyme disease and so on and every test came back normal.

Now over the past year or so the shooting left leg sciatica type pain and the pain I felt around the splenic flexure area went away on its own. I have no idea why and I cannot explain why this went away but I am just happy that it did.

After this starting few weeks ago I tried to really deal with the pain and try to localize where the pain was coming from. I felt that if I had MRIs which did not show any disease present then maybe this was a more simple explanation to the symptoms I was having .

So I started to go to some massages and I told one of the masseuses I was using that I have left side shoulder pain. So during my massage she took her two fingers and pressed hard and deep into my armpit. This replicated and made worse the exact same pain I was having all this time. It made me really realize the exact point where I felt the pain originates from before it shoots and refers pain down my left arm.

So I started to feel around the area and I started to feel deep into the musculature of my armpit area. I felt what I can only describe as a very large semi hard lump in the latissimus dorsi muscle. When squeezing this area it created the exact same pain I was having for all these years - a pain coming from this exact area that would then shoot up my shoulder and then down my left arm.

So I started go google around and discovered something called a muscular trigger point like in this video on youtube.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLZQBhnVEK0

So basically I feel like this knot of muscle tissue right in this area was causing me to have pain that originated in this latissimus dorsi area of my left shoulder and referred the pain from this point to the left side of my head (headache), my left collarbone, left tricep and shot pain down to my left fingers like this photo below

    http://www.robertsonfamilychiro.com/images/latissimus-dorsi-trigger-point.jpg

As far as the splenic flexure pain, face and tongue tingling I believe this was just a freak coincidence or just from the stress of the whole ordeal and the sciatica leg pain was probably from aggrivating the nerve and from the lower back pain I have from work (I work hunched over all day).

So now what I do daily is grab the knot of muscle in this area and with firm pressure massage it to help relieve the pain. I would say the pain I have had for the past 6-7 years is around 90% gone now and I can finally have some relief from knowing that everything is ok.

    I hope this helps everyone.

this sounds so familiar! SAME THING HAS HAD ME BAFFLED FOR THREE YEARS! i'm looking into TOS (thoracic outlet syndrome)! i think this is the winner ladies and gentlemen. i've thrown everything at my DOCTOR except the kitchen sink. and i think i may have finally hit a home run. getting an MRI of this area it has to do with trapped nerves . there are 3 types/kinds of this disease. to recap im getting all those same symptoms that most here have said. hope this helps. trigger point massage helps but if you want to do that daily then ok. im getting my life back people. therapy helps this condition. mostly a posture thing . but if that wont fix the issues there is a surgery for this condition. hope this helps all who have been suffering and what not. all those doctors and their its in your head crap. WE KNOW OUR OWN BODIES . RIGHT?

stay away from TEXT NECK. IT HAS A LOT TO DO WITH OUR PROBLEMS. POSTURE PEOPLE , POSTURE!
