Colonoscopy: MoviPrep Help

Posted , 7 users are following.

Hi everyone,

I have a colonoscopy and a gastroscopy on Tuesday. I was provided with MoviPrep as my prep. The last time I used this I struggled to drink it and made me feel extremely ill. Has anyone any tips on how I can deal with the taste?

Glad it went well.  Did you manage to drink it all?  Were the results ok too? 😊

I drank about 5 out of the 6 glasses I made. They said everything looks okay but I have to wait 4-6 weeks for the results. Finger's crossed they're okay smile

Well the good news is that no news is good news - if there was a problem you'd hear within a couple of days.  Glad you had an OK experience.  Mine with MoviPrep was, well lets just say frequent and long lasting, still going strong with everything I ate for 2 days afterwards!!

hi, no tips from me but I just want to say, it was literally impossible for me to drink it, I managed somehow the first one but the second I was vomiting every time I ve tried to drink it, so I've called the hospital, spoke to a lovely nurse and asked for advice, she told to that if the day of my colonoscopy In the morning I'm still passing liquid to go still, and if not , to go and explain the situation and ask for an enema. I did asked for one and turned out ok, but seriously that laxative is vile.!
