Ever since i was 7 years old, iv been feeling constantly sick, i will go a couple of years of feeling really sick 24/7 then a couple of years feeling fine. It just comes and goes over long periods of time. This time i have been feeling constantly sick, anxious, bloated, acid refluxes and stomach pains. I have to mention i have a fear of vomiting and all these feelings only makes my fear worse, i haven't put my life on hold from (even tho i sometimes feel like i want too). I also have trouble going to the toilet sometimes (number 2) i quite often get constipated. Im only 23 years old, male by the way and i cant go out drinking with friends, go out for meals or even holidays because i feel like throwing up all the time, its just a nightmare!! I don't even know what normal feels like anymore all i feel is SICK, NAUSEA AND DISCOMFORT, its so distressing and makes me angry sometimes. Does anyone have any answers or idea to what this might be? Or ever experienced this before? Would very much appreciated your views

One of the conditions that no-one has mentioned is Coeliac disease. It can cause abdominal pain, acidity, nausea and many other symptoms. Coeliac disease is an autoimmune disease which means that the person cannot eat any food with gluten in it. If they eat food with gluten in it, the reaction of the body to the gluten results in damage to the small intestine lining and therefore many different forms of symptoms.

The only way to test for Coeliac is to continue to eat foods with gluten for at least 6 weeks prior to tests - GP can do the blood tests and refer you for gastroscopy with duodenal biopsy.

I was tested for Coeliac in the second week which came back all clear. My GP did a complete blood test as did the Gastro Specialist. I've basically cut all fat, dairy, sugar, and any acidic foods from my diet. I've lost almost 6kg in six weeks and diet changes haven't made a difference. I've even tried the gluten free diet but nothing stops me from having this sick feeling in my stomach except for being dosed up on zantac. I really don't know what to do anymore I've lost all quality of life and I'm so miserable and depressed. I have another appointment with the Gastro Dr. In 2 weeks and I'm really hoping he can give me an answer or at least some medication to stop me feeling this way.

Hi I have no clue what this is but I have the same exact thing it freaks me out. To the point I hey so mad. Ialso have a fear of doctors and surgery to throw that into the mix of them finding something wrong so that's my deal. I do have some good days. But mostly. Bad ones. I'm not sure if the anxiety is worse than the symptoms if you find out what this is please share I'll do the same. Hope u feel better

Have had the same symptoms for ten years , multiple trips every year to e.r. And mutiiple doctors , All test and blood work comes back normal . Told it's been anxiety, given meds for that and protein pump inhibitors did not help. Finally went to another doctor about a month ago who actually listened to what I said and ran stool samples .

I tested positive for c. diff (cloustrium difficile) was put on flagyl ( metronidazole) just finished 10 day course of this antibiotic, nausea gone reflux is almost gone anxiety levels have come way down finally feel like I have found an answer and it's not all in my head. I say request to be tested for this if your doctor won't test for it find one that will. Good luck and hope this helps. not that it matters but I am 49.

Hi, how is the c diff test performed? I see a gastro this week first time and I'm TERRIFIED because Drs don't seem to care or believe bacterial things can be behind gastro probs. thanks

Brian26239, I know this is over a year ago, but was wondering if you had Diarrhea when you were checked for CDiff?   My husband had a blood test from a lab that's primarily used by Naturalpathics.  It showed he had high levels of CDiff.  Showed results to an Infectious Disease Dr and she said everyone has CDiff in them. Since my husband had Constipation vs. Diarrhea, she said he doesn't have it so wouldn't treat him.

How are you doing today?  Did the Flagyl help?   Thanks.

I had the same thing and it is destroying my life the difference though is that mine doesn't come and go... It just stays and usually after eating this will happen. It makes me so angry because my aunt Becka has this and right now and mine is just starting before it gets to the point hers is at. She has what you have just without the breaks. Its so frustrating and terrifying because we (Becka and I ) have had endoscopy's, Colonoscopy's, they have taken pieces of our stomach lining and tested it and what do they tell us? "There is nothing wrong with you. You're insane. Its all in your head." In fact we are banned from Three Rivers Hospital in Grants Pass, Oregon.Wanna know why? Because they can't find out what is wrong with us. They denied me help when I was puking up acid! Saying there was nothing wrong with me! It is to the point where I am beginning to feel pain vconstantly. I just needed to let you know that you are not alone and a bit of what to expect. Becka keeps getting sicker and sicker. We have found a bit of the

Cause. What you eat. I don't care what you ate before. Eat as healthy as you possibly can. Next breath through your nose because when you breath through your mouth, the air goes to your stomach giving you indigestion and gas. It also helps with ANY acid problems. It won't get rid of our problem but it will help a lot.

EXACT problem. Wake up super sick every morning and barf my brains out until I feel better. They also told me it was because I smoke to much weed. Which, in fact, it's one of the three things that make me feel normal and not nauseous for hours . The problem is acid reflux AND extreme anxiety. The two definitely don't mix. I just get myself all worked up about stuff for no reason and makes myself super sick thinking about it . My best suggestion would be lay off spicy and acidic meals. Drink water morning and night, smoke a little weed ( if that's you ). Also, also also also. Don't sleep flat on your back, I sleep sitting up more, and it helps reduce the nausea by great amounts.

I've also had this happen to me and dctors haven't been able to give me a cure. It started almost a year ago when I randomly threw up one day and haven't stopped since. Ive got such bad pain and bloating I can't sleep past 6am because of the discomfort. I'm so drained, I don't remeber what it feels like to be healthy. It's completely taken over my life and i'm only 20 years old. I've even flown abroad to see if they could find a cure but they just told me I had severe gastric reflux and gave me meds for it but it hasn't helped at all!!

Although, I found that when I went abroad my sympotoms resided quite a bit but once I was back in the UK i've just got worse. Maybe there's an underlying psychological problem or maybe it's just psychical but whatever it is it needs to be cured!!

I am a long time smoker I had never had any problems like this when I was 16 I use to smoke all the time

I quit smoking in my twenties and I didn't start having heartburn or trouble with stomach till after my kids my concern is though I pay attention and I had been noticing that when I stopped smoking I didn't seem to have any issues but when I would start smoking again I would I just started to smoke recently and stomach issues have returned I'm going to stop but I honestly think it's something more serious Like a ulcer or something I can't eat anything without it coming back up almost as if it never made it down
