hi,im just wondering as ive yet to go back to specialist after getting my letter to say ive got dd im wondering is it a fast growing disease or is it something that happens over time,i feel like im making a fuss but i just cant get my head round it,was up at 3.30am with the trots then again at 7.30am,couple of days now with dull ache in left side,is this what is called a flare is up coz im not sure what one is,i just know everyday is different,

    I'm with Scouce on this one.  Maybe a new doc would be better for your recovery.  Hang in there and keep pushing forward.  You will get better and don't worry about being negative.  We have all been there and many times I'm afraid but it will get better as you learn more about DD and how to keep the flares at bay for you.  It's trial and error and I've sure  made a lot of errors before my surgery.  I know you are anxious to find out about he sigmoidoscopy.  Keep us informed.  Tuesday I will be 23 weeks out from my last surgery.  Doing well except for bouts with diarrhea.  I find immodium helps but working with some natural things to help now.  Will keep all of you abreast as to the results.

    hi,im back ive had a bad night last night and feel a bit rotten today,im just wondering,can you also have pain in the right side,as i have a stabbing pain there at the moment,only had left side looked at on the flexi sigmoid.thanks

      Hi there,i was diagnosed with multiple diverticula on the left side but get pains on the right,im suffering from cramps all the time at the moment and multiple visits to the loo a day.When will it  all end i ask myself ?

    hi just a question to ask you lovely people,i have noticed the last few times after having a latte that i have a bloating feeling all day,is this possible or could there be another reason why i feel so bloated
