Constant feeling in head of penis to urinate

45 male. 3 weeks of constant feeling of urine in head of penis - pressure. Urinating is a weak stream but get brief relief. Some hesitancy. No burn when urinating or pain anywhere else. No feeling in bladder just in the head of the penis. Going to the toilet a lot. Started after masturbating. All UTI, STI test negative. Painkiller and anti-inflammation pills don't work. Going crazy with the feeling. No previous penis trauma or surgeries. Had no meds. Dr won't give antibiotics as now infection noted.

    hi guys so little update im feeling quite a bit better, i dont think im out of the woods yet and ive seen posts before saying people have a few weeks feeling fine and then it comes back, so im still being cautious and engaging with doctors to try and find a cause.

    I had an ultrasound, which came back completely fine - so i feel i can rule out being a kidney or bladder infection (which is good news). Im maybe starting to believe its muscular/nerve related, or perhaps even OAB.

    What im doing daily which i find helps is pelvic floor stretches either in the morning or before i go to bed, kegels & drinking LOTS. I try go above 2.5L, yes i pee a lot but it feels normal actually peeing when i need to go pee.

    Mentally im so much better as im just trying to not let this take over my life anymore. Its unconfortable but i just put up with it now and keep myself distracted. As soon as you start letting this dictate what you can & cant do thats when its the worst.

    Hang in there guys!! Everyone gets through this one way or another.

      bro thats very true this issue has dictated what i can or cant do alot and sometimes does idk what the hell is going on doctors say im totally clear but damn im not! bro if it was nerve related you would have bad reflexes or it would be obvious so i doubt that i thought the same, i mean it has a high chance of being OAB which im also suspecting of but Doctors arent saying anything they dont know if i got OAB or something else im taking Betmiga for OAB i didnt rlly see any progress so idk but i feell like its either trauma swelling inside or OAB my suspicion i fear the most is intertitial cystitis hope its not that

    I'm surprised I haven't read anything about finasteride on here. I'm having the same problem. I constantly feel like I have pee in the tip of my shaft. It's absolute hell trying to sleep. It seems to have started when I started taking finasteride. But I didn't make the connection for about a year. And the issue has only gotten worse. It seems to die down when I stop taking finasteride. But I need make sure of this before I say for sure. Frequent urination seems to be rare side effect of finasteride, but I've not seen people describe the constant feeling of pee in the shaft. Just thought I'd add this since no one has mentioned it yet. Still looking for a solution to this issue. I'm in my 20s. And this has been off and on for 2 years.

    Oddities before I had this problem:

    -1 out of every 10 or so masturbates I would get a stinging ejaculation.

    • at that same frequency I would get stinging pee after I ejaculated. And the stinging would usually last and hour or so. But I don't remember the 2 happening together.
    • neither of these have happened since I've had this problem.

    Current symptoms:

    -Weaker erections, harder to get an erection, still can if I try though.

    • cycle starts with a very constant need to pee.
    • feeling of pee in the shaft of my penis.
    • at it's worst when lying down, then sitting, then standing is the most tolerable.
    • bladder retention is definitely worse overall
    • comes around every 2 and half months and lasts weeks.

      -peeing normally relieves the feeling in my penis for a few minutes. But some occasions there is no relief even after peeing.

    • having an erection makes the sensation go away without fail.

      -putting pressure on my penis dulls the sensation about half way.

    • ejaculation seems to aggravate it more. But it doesn't seem to cause or help the sensation go away if I don't ejaculate for a while.

      2 years bro thats scary and insane didnt doctors find any solution this is fr so bad like they should know whats going on it hasnt been that long for me my symptoms are weaker erection,constant urge to pee on the tip of penis,sometimes lower stomach pain or bladder sensations and all my tests come out clear im going to go to a different country for a check up in summer im only turning 18 tomorrow i cant live the rest of my life like this im scared cause it effects my life style alot there has to be a solution for this there has to be.

      sometimes when I pee,it feels like there is a lot in my bladder but so little comes out

      i dont have a foreskin but for me whar suckes is i have intense pressure in the bladder area that hurts in the morning i pee very less and the pressure doesnt go away until a few mins

      I don't feel that specifically in the morning but at random times.

      im suspecting weak urethra bec of weak pee steam but why do i grt lower stomach pain then and uncompfiness idk ive done tests they come out clear i cant wait to finish my exams and go to a diff country hope it wil cure me

      also,my aim while peeing has also been very poor recently and sometimes it stings or hurts at the edge of my penis head while peeing. Do you feel the same?

      im from cyprus, yes my aim in peeing pretty low the pressure of peeing also pretty low i get Nausee or Edge pain when peeing sometimes sometimes it randomly happens through out the day usually my bladder feels pressured and my lower stomach is irritate and feels pressure im giving the doctors in my country a last chance by going Gastro check up because it may be a problem in my lungs or Around the digestive area or something like that which can effect the penis as long as cause ED they will either stick a catheter like thing from my 🍑 or they will stick a camera through my mouth under my digestive area to check if i got a problem around there most probably if they cant find any results to diagnose then probs Go a diff country for a check up im rlly hoping they find something its so hard

      how long have you been suffering from this? Mine has been for almost a month. some days it better,some days its worse. Doc said I have infection due to smegma buildup which I've cleaned I guess but it's getting tighter. The urge to pee has reduced a bit.

      ive been suffering from this for almost a year now first starting from UTI and when my uti cleared i was all ok for 1 week until my symptoms started again and then i struggled to pee and also had frequent pee and now urologists cant find my issue no matter what so im gonna try a gastrologist

      damn man! that sucks. 1 year of the bullsht😔. I hope we recover quickly. I have not ejaculated for about 3 weeks but sometimes when I'm very aroused and erected,my penis leaks some precum out on it's own. I'm worried if it is unusual.

      bro our penis isnt functioning normally and ik we all wish for it to be Functioning normally again im so done i always break down crying everyday They dont even know what the heck is wrong with me i hope the gastrologist will figure out whats wrong with me i hope thrh will find it cause if not idk how im gonna live i havent masterbated for so long bec of the fear of making it worst & i barely Get erected to anyway bro the thing abt me is idk when or if i ever will get better o have questions to myself

      nah,don't worry mate. we'll get through this together and live fulfilling lives. We're too young. We've still gotta see the whole world. We'll recover from this crap. Just gotta stay strong and trust the process and doctors. I know we will have our doubts but we just got to hang in there. We will definitely win this over. Stay Strong.💜

      i got an appointment for 12th of febuary to a Gastrologist to check around my digestive system & lower stomach i do feel pressure on the lower stomach alot.

      i am now panicking even more like ok im going to get my digestive area checked but if that comes out clear im suspecting i might have Diabetes insipidus which is basically Over thirstiness and constant peeing:(

      i doubt its diebetes insipidus but its either a gastric problem,urethrel problem or bladder problem or Neurologic problem so at 2nd of febuary (i decreased my date of going doctors i asked if i can they said yes) so im going to check my digestive area,lower stomach,bowels to check if there is anything WELL I HOPE THERE IS its better thennot finding anything and still feeling bad if they cant find anything im probs gonna see if its muscle of nerve related the thing is I always have the question on my mind will i get better or will i stay like this forever which i cannot bear😭 also i started waking up recently at 3-4 am to pee i usually woke up at 7-8 to pee then go back up to sleep cause i wont have enough sleep and i will feel tired ik there is something but they lit arent able to find my issue well urologists couldnt maby gastrologists will be able to but 1 of my issues are constant urge to pee on the tip of penis/urethra and i barely get erections

      I'm feeling the urge to pee alot today too. on top of that,I get a stinging pain randomly on my penis. sadly,can't visit a doctor for atleast a week.

      i get the sting feeling to sometimes more when i pee after waking up at 3am 4am or 6am to pee usually those times it stings me sometimes randomly through out the day iswell not to mention my penis feels soo weak i cant even get erected my penis feels spomgey and squishy

      have you checked you weight to see if it has decreased?
