Ever since i was 7 years old, iv been feeling constantly sick, i will go a couple of years of feeling really sick 24/7 then a couple of years feeling fine. It just comes and goes over long periods of time. This time i have been feeling constantly sick, anxious, bloated, acid refluxes and stomach pains. I have to mention i have a fear of vomiting and all these feelings only makes my fear worse, i haven't put my life on hold from (even tho i sometimes feel like i want too). I also have trouble going to the toilet sometimes (number 2) i quite often get constipated. Im only 23 years old, male by the way and i cant go out drinking with friends, go out for meals or even holidays because i feel like throwing up all the time, its just a nightmare!! I don't even know what normal feels like anymore all i feel is SICK, NAUSEA AND DISCOMFORT, its so distressing and makes me angry sometimes. Does anyone have any answers or idea to what this might be? Or ever experienced this before? Would very much appreciated your views

I've been constantly sick to my stomach/nauseated for over 3 months now... happened out of nowhere... seemed like drinking coffee was making feel nauseated at the start of this...therefore quit coffee 5 wks ago.... before the nausea hit i had bad bitter taste to the left side of mouth for a couple days and I've been feeling sick ever since, the taste is not as bad, but lingers around, I still notice it.
I was taking NSAIDs weekly for headaches, but have stopped the NSAIDs ...
I've went to primary dr and gi specailist....
had 2 cts including head, lots of blood work including cortisol I guess if itd low that could cause nausea, well mine was slightly elevated smh. I had an endoscopy that only showed mild chronic gastritis and mild active duodenitis ... which dr doesnt think that should be causing constant nausea.... I just had a hida scan yesterday, waiting for results. I was on omeprazole for 2 months no better, been on reglan, zofran, and compazine, provides barely any nausea relief... put on linzess for ibs c which I've been managing for 12 yrs, wasnt a huge deal, ibs is a cake walk compared to nausea.
I have a 2nd GI dr opinion oct 26th 2020... I had to quit grad NP school, and I've been on leave from work as a registered nurse. Hard to run yourself ragged taking care of sick patients for 12 hrs when you're sick yourself 😦 it just feels like my life is miserable and hopeless.
Will this constant sick feeling in my stomach ever go away? What is causing me to feel sick 24/7??? only things I've heard thrown out there is gastritis and functional dyspepsia..... I eat half as much as i used to, lost some weight, taking ginger root capsules, recently started cbd oil a couple days ago... I just dont understand why this is happening. I'm 32 and never had nausea issues ever before this came about. I worked out weekly pretty fit, hadnt ate fast food in many years, dont drink, dont smoke, no drugs...
I just don't understand why this is happening and drs say I'm perfectly healthy.... sigh. this doesn't add up.

5 months now of 24/7 CONSTANT NAUSEA with NO ANSWERS =(
Since last post, HIDA was normal at 88%, even though I've read conflicting articles that a high EF like that isn't normal, but some surgeons still believe that high EF's are normal... Anyways... I've also had a brain MRI normal, seen an ENT which says my ears appear normal, also had my 2nd endoscopy same as last time, normal except for mild chronic gastritis that you can't even see during scope, and drs say that wouldn't be causing constant nausea....my 2nd GI did do a staining from my 1st endoscopy looking for MAST CELLS, they were significantly increased but didn't match up with my blood work to dx Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, soooo there's that... He thinks my chronic gastritis is from acid and stress, since I don't smoke or ever drink or whatever else that can cause gastritis.
Last but not least, I had a gastric emptying study, don't be surprised.... NORMAL. I've been to the ED, I've seen 2 GI specialists, an ENT doctor, and most recently a cardiologist/POTS specialist for expecting that I may have POTS... he said he wasn't sure I had POTS, and didn't refer me to any testing, such as a table tilt test, or anything... I have low bp and hr at baseline, so he said just increase salt, drink poweraid, and wear thigh high compression stockings... I read on a POTS forum recently there were many who suffer from nausea, and 2 people I messaged said their nausea has been 24/7 for 11 and 10 years.... That's insane and saddening!!!!! The ongoing suffering nausea creates, 5 months like this leaves me with no joy and only misery, it's very difficult to imagine this never going away.....that thought throws me off the deep end often. I would be SO HAPPY if the nausea would at least come and go or only experience it some days weekly, I would take that in a heartbeat! WHY IS IT CONSTANT NEVER ENDING, how such a thing is possible??? smh sigh no answer, GI doctor said possible neurological issue which is very complicated, so i'm just stuck like this, it did say HIGHLY likely that i'll get better, but it is so frustrating to never be able to escape that horrible feeling for a break, to actually believe I will get better...what's normal feel like anymore?
I had a virus in April 2020 and nausea started mid June2020 .... my GI doctor thinks it triggered this to happen.... the cardiologist thinks the same thing.... that it damaged my nerves in my stomach or something.... sigh =(
I know this thread is so old from orginal post, it would be so great to see if the nausea has been figured out and/or resolved for you all???
Zofran doesn't nothing for me
Compazine helps a little sometimes
Doing scopolamine patch now, not sure how I like it just yet...
Also GI put me on low dose Naltrexone 4.5 mg... experimental to see if it helps inflammation and "decrease stomach sensitivity" as my GI dr put it. There's some articles about it, written by my doctor, it has special interests in MCAS and using Naltrexone for intestinal diseases.
Well..... I'm looking forward to UPDATES guys.....
