Constant nausea for months!!!

Hi everyone I am new here 😃
My stomach problems started many years ago but only became a problem a few month ago. I started getting bad and constant nausea and bad bloating/gas - I would also burping up food that I had eaten. I went to the doctor about this and was prescribed Somax (Acid Tablets) I was told that I have acid Refux and possible gastritis. I took these tablets for months but it was not working at all! I should say that I suffer from severe anxiety issues. My anxiety was becoming really bad because I thought I might have stomach cancer. I go back to the doctor to tell her I am not feeling any better and that I would like to see a Gastroenterologist to get an endoscopy done - Before my procedure the specialist looked at my previous blood test and said they were perfect and I could have IBS. Being told I have IBS I changed my whole diet I cut out all dairy and cut back on gluten, Nothing was changing! I wasn't feeling any better. The day came to get my endoscopy - After my procedure my specialist said my stomach looked normal and there was only minimal Refulx. He took biopsies from my stomach I waited a few days and went back to the doctor for the biopsy results and she said I have mild gastritis in my stomach and mild inflammation in my duodenum (Small intestine) That was great! I was relieved that it was nothing worst, My doctor prescribed another acid tablet to me (Esomeprazole Apotex) 40mg - I have been on them for nearly 2 weeks and my nausea isn't any better! I got another set of blood tests done afew days ago to check EVERYTHING! my liver, Pancreas, Kidney, blood Count etc....ALL was normal except my iron levels are incredibly low because I am a vegetarian. I am going to be getting a scan done on my abdomen and checking all the organs around there. I am also getting a colonoscopy within the next 2 weeks. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing my nausea !!?? Everything I have been tested for is normal. My doctor is running out of ideas and tests to do.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!! Sorry for the long story!! Thanks

i would have similar problems and after several endescopies was diagnosed with gerd and am on ppi tablets which do very little. anyhow i find that if i bend, walk, or drive after eating i get bad nausea the only solution would be to just laze around for a couple of hours after eating and that should help.

Thanks Joseph, greatly appreciate your response. I fear the tablets aren't going to work. It's just that fear of what if it is something bad!? But my tests always come back clear.
Thanks for the idea 😃 I do laze around after eating but it doesn't go. So annoying!! I hope your feeling better now.
Thanks

Ok thanks for that! I will give anything a try to try and combat this nausea - I'm not sure what more tests can be done.

Please do let me know how you feel when you have drank a glass of water with ACV after meals.
Trusting you will feel better soon. Also, try to eat smaller portions too.

I've had a constant non stop sick feeling in my stomach for over 3 months now. Nausea was severe for a couple weeks and landed in the ED, which was no help. Gave me fluids, IV zofran, full body ct, which was perfect, so sent me home with a psych referral.
I was fine then one day out of no where I wasn't and right under my sternum or zyphoid process, it's just a heavy feeling there that makes me feel sick. It never goes away.... I have no pains or anything with eating ect, just this constant sick feeling. this started last week of June 2020 and after 2 wks I saw my primary, he ordered ppi and reglan, zofran, then compazine... zofran and compazine slightly helped, but still felt unwell. Ended up going to a GI specialist and had another ct scan, blood, and endoscopy... all fine, endoscopy showed chronic mild gastritis and active mild duodenitis....
I was on ppi 40mg daily 2 months, no change, if anything maybe made me feel worse. GI told me maybe its visceral hypersensitivity and wanted to put me on a TCA antidepressant... desipramine... one day of that and horrible side effects, so stopped that. my GI doesnt seem helpful at this point and I have a new GI appt for a 2nd opinion on oct 26th... by then thatll be 4 months suffering like this. I also have a HIDA scan this coming Monday to check my gallbladder.
I had to quit grad school to be a nurse practitioner and I've been on leave from my job as a bedside oncology RN. This has been a horrible experience and one I dont understand... I've had ibs for 12 yrs but nothing I couldnt cope with and manage... nausea is a whole different level of suffering... I was healthy, 125lbs worked out every week, worked full time, grad school, to now I'm a shallow shell of my former self, trying to find anything in the day to keep my spirits up. I at least can eat again and sleep, for a couple weeks it was severe I thought I was dying from the severity of nausea. It's been 3 weeks since that happened. This week I've started ginger root capsules and peppermint CBD oil. I just keep thinking I have to be normal again some day. Trying to be thankful I can eat and sleep again at least, but every day is a mental battle with this ongoing sick feeling in the pit of my gut. I hope you all become healthy again!

I'm sorry you're going through this. I had a similar trajectory to you which for me started in November (and three and a half months ago), though it began with mild stomach pain for a couple weeks, then progressed to almost non-stop nausea, fatigue, and loss of appetite. I did a CT Scan (found nothing except for a fatty liver, which I'm told is not a factor or not something to worry about), an Xray of my lower left abdomen (clear), blood work (all normal except very slightly elevated bilirubin) and eventually a colonoscopy and endoscopy. The endoscopy found mild gastritis, mild bile reflux and a small peptic ulcer. I'm told these are likely the cause of my symptoms. I was put on two 40mg of Pantoprazole a day and 2GMs of Sucralfate a day as well. So far I've noticed some improvement, but I will have several consecutive days of feeling extremely nauseas and terrible, which is making me suspect that perhaps there is another issue, though it seems that in some cases this is to be expected. I've been on the meds for about 4 weeks now, and I'm supposed to go through a two month course and see how I am after before I begin weaning off of them. I hope you find answers soon, I know how debilitating all of this is.

9 months.... all the tests are normal, my 2gi has given up on me, I'm on amitriptyline and buspar with absolutely no improvement. I'm still sick to my stomach 24/7
2 ct
chest xray
ultrasound
brain MRI
hida
ges
stool test
2 endoscopy
blood work....
NOTHING can be found.
I've lost school, my job, everyday is misery. I can hardly stand feeling ill anymore and when drs give up and cant find a reason wtf are u supposed to do!!?? I'm tired of suffering like this, it's devastating to think the only way not to suffer is to take ur own life.
No meds work, nothing helps at all... it's just always constant no matter what.
How tf did I just randomly wake up like this and its non stop!? I miss my life so much. I was happy, in grad school, had a great paying job, workedout a lot, I dont understand how this is possible:( I've never felt so hopeless in my life.
