COPD outcomes and help

My Granny has had COPD for sometime but a recent infection has made her be admitted to hospital for several weeks.

she is now out at home and for the first time needs oxygen at home. 

does anyone have any experience they want to share

    I would ask the GP if the community matron can visit weekly to be sure your gran is coping at home and using the oxygen.  If you are living with your gran and are her carer you can phone her GP to ask for this service.  This applies in UK, refer to information mentioned in your previous post if you are not living in UK:- https://patient.info/forums/discuss/copd-and-anti-smoking-campaign-648583

    Any queries regarding her oxygen usage is through the specialist consultant and the company who is supplying the oxygen for your gran.
