Cost of total knee replacement

I was just wondering what is the cost for total knee

replacement surgery. I know here in the states with insurance it can run up to and over $150k. I am just curious as the what it is in other countries.

    I'm on medicare here in Australia. I chose my surgeon. A full TKR with physio and aftercare was approx 25KAUD according to my doctor

      Of course cost to me was nothing for which I am grateful. I'm just on 18 months post TKR.

      Not too bad. Still a little fluid but I can do everything except kneel.

      I tripped and made an acrobatic launch through the air last week and landed on both knees.

      Happily an Xray showed no damage... But still feeling bruised.

      I happy you are ok. I am well thank you. I am almost three weeks out, and I have my ups and downs. If do to much it swells, stiffness as well as tightness. This site has helped alot. Still have long way to go. Finally able to raise leg. Ice is my best friend. So again I say thank you take care and have a great day

    I'm in the states and a year ago my TKR cost over $55,000. Thank goodness for insurance!!!

      Had mine done in uk using choose and book via NHS had it done in six weeks at a spire private hospital in for three days.
