I have times when I am very off balance, yes...and the dizziness...oh, the dizziness, lol!  The dizziness leads directly to anxiety for me.  I can't wait to be out the other end of the perimenopausal crap!

I experience dizziness on and off. I've also heard other people mention it too. It's a peri. thing.

Hiya, yes i had that in perimenopause on and off, being unsteady on legs, clumsy, bumping into things in shops. Im now in meno and suffering even more anxiety and when very anxious i get the jelly legs and feel out of it and unsteady, especially in supermarkets! So thinking back a couple of years when my anxiety started low level, i wonder if it was the anxiety that caused my unsteadiness back then too. Do you have any anxiety?

YES, I have panic and anxiety attacks, but thats another story...Im so glad Im not alone in this. I trip, stumble and fall very easily, and when I get up from my desk at work, it takes me a while to even put one foot in front of the other and walk....

That's me too Julie 😔....supermarkets are a nightmare for me don't think the florescent lighting helps either. I can get quite panicky and adrenaline rush is another symptom while shopping, like I can't take it all in everything in the aisles it becomes too much, which causes me anxiety and then overheat and therefore no choice but to leave. The minute I'm outside I am absolutely fine! It's a joke & just cannot go shopping unless absolutely nessesary. I'm postmenopausal and 9 years struggling.

Yuk! I too get bouts of dizziness!!! Out of no where! Sometimes it lasts for seconds and other times lasting for hours! It could also be vertigo. You should probably see your doctor just to rule out any serious problems, but there is a drug called meclizine that is over the counter that is also used to treat vertigo. Good luck and hope you feel better soon! This peri stuff sucks!!!😝

Hiya yep I get this too. Sometimes s few seconds and sometimes for a few days. I guess it's the dreaded peri Hun and best thing is try not to panic-but easier said than done I know! As with anything if it goes on too long or gets worse maybe worth a quick chat with the doc? Hope things are improving for you xx

YES!! I'm dizzy, off balance, headaches/ migraines, nausea, foggy thinking. I have 2 sisters also with dizziness during peri/ menopause. One sister is on oestrogen patches and low dose Endep and says she now has no dizziness. I can't take HRT so I have just started with a chiropractor who specialises in vestibular (balance centres) rehabilitation...so with the adjustments he's giving me special exercises to retrain my brain....going well so far but early days yet... ( it seems to be not just hormonal with me, but did get lot worse peri)

Hi, I have had the off balance feeling when walking about and that cause me to have Anixety fearing I'm going to fall but you never do...loads of us gets this or Dizzness I've had CT scan few years ago and then went on to  seeing  Neurologist and she did a number of checks and rule out nothing..so I don't think it's anything to worry about, our hormones are like a rollercoaster and when they go high up down they come with speed that's why we have all this but it will pass.

Yes I have had balance problems since 2013 when I was 44. I was originally diagnosed with Labyrinthitis and then migraines but I am convinced it is all a part of perimenopause xx
