Cramps??

Hi. I am 13 weeks post op after TVH, sacrospinous fixation, anterior and posterior repairs.  I have had a good recovery so far but feel a long way off being ‘normal’ whatever that is after these ops. Still uncomfortable in most clothing and underwear 😬. 

Over the the last week or so I have had new twinges. Down the front of my abdomen from my belly button to the pubic bone. Pulling sorts of feelings. Also from top of legs to labia. Actual site of op no pain. Could this be deeper stitches tightening and pulling. I can’t remember when the stitches in the fascia start to dissolve. 

But out my main concern is a painful attack last night. It felt like my whole pelvic area had cramped. Especially around the back passage but right under up to just under the belly button. I had a lie down and did relaxation breathing. It subsided after about half an hour. Anyone had this. What is it. I was quite frightened by the intensity. Far worse pain than anything after the op. X

    Oh Ange, so glad you are getting checked out. I will be watching to see what your doctor tells you! Praying it is a simple fix!!
