Cure for fibromyalgia

Dear all

I believe you can heal completely from fibromyalgia if you stop eating carbs diary meat fish all processed food and sugar.

    You can put yourself into remission and live a happy pain free life when you live a stricken diet but due to hormones, weather change, stress etc you can still get flares but it can be more controlled.

      But are you actually able to live only on veg and fruits without carbs proteins sugar for ever?

      Are you happy with this life?

    I went on a diet like this and still had problems. I have been doing lots of reading and I am starting believe a diet consisting of meat and some green veggies is the key. I am going to start that diet 2 weeks from now. Nothing but meat and veg.

      Do you manage to live only on veg and meat? Do you have energy? Can u work?

    Avoid red meat and focus only chicken, turkey, pork occasionally and lots of fish.

    Red meat triggers inflammation in the gut

    You have to remove everything not just red meat. You are only allowed to eat vegetables and fruit .

    I tried it but energy is zero and pain is worse but i guess you need to get worse before you get better. So no pasta no rice no bread no meat no fish no diary

    This diet I am going to try is an elimation diet. It includes all meat, even red meat. The veggies are only green veg and you use lots of butter/fat. You do that for a month and then you can re-introduce other foods and track symptoms.

      So you eat everything except of meat.

    I’m with the chronic pain team for fibromyalgia and I have Endometriosis specialist so working over the years I need to balance my hormones that trigger the inflammatory process which then triggers fibromyalgia so I buy only local produce from the butchers, local fish shop and veg shop etc, I avoid any processed food, sugars, yeast, gluten, dairy and red meat as well as using CBD oil orally and it works for me but you just need to trial what works for you x

      Hi yes I would, I have been on strong opiates like morphine and I am off these strong meds thanks to the cannabis oil, be careful where you purchase your product from, I get my oil from a registered and approved shop that only supplies these products

    I'm not eating fish at all, sugar only in tea, but I feel all the symptoms from fibro, so I'm not sure this might totally cure it.

      You need to stop eating everything. You need to drink only smoothies of veg and fruit for ever with flax seeds. Then you will heal. No more food. No pasta no pizza no cheese no milk no processed food no meat no fish nothing

      but that can cause too much sugar in the gut and cause yeast growth. A suspected cause of fibro.

      First, Your body needs adequate protein and fat to survive and for good brain health.  I agree that dairy is inflammatory BUT if you eat grass fed and finished organic meat, you'll be getting Omega 3 which you need.  Also wild salmon and sardines are anti-inflammatory.

      Eliminating all grains is also a good move.

      You do need to understand that people are different in their reactions to certain food.  I'm OK with eggs but some are not.

      I only eat organic, unprocessed food.

      Best way for any diet is to first do allergy testing, then do blood work to find out vitamin and mineral deficiencies (correct them.)  Then eliminate dairy and all grains.  See how you feel after a month.  If you don't feel better, eliminate eggs.  Make sure you eat plenty of good fat from salmon, avocados, nuts, seeds, flax, chia, etc.  Organic olive oil is good and coconut and MCT oil are very anti-inflammatory.  The key is reducing inflammation.

      stellina this is really dangerous advice.  To suggest that anyone stop eating everything and drink only veg and fruit smoothies is insane.  What about people like me who have allergies to lots of fruits?

      Thus can affect the ph of the stomach, triggering IBS, triggering symptoms blah blah blah. Thank you so much!
