cyclic information peri nausea

Hi ladies I will keep it brief.

I'm suffering debilitating nausea. Latest episode two weeks and counting.

Doctor gave me cyclzine. Anyone tried this x

    Hi  I realise that I had no idea of the range of symptoms you can suffer during the peri menopause. I was getting hot flushes and erratic periods but didn't realise that low mood, lack of concentration etc was all part of it too. I was put on HRT (only 4 months ago) which has helped with the hot flushes and concentration but now I am suffering from nausea and dizziness and makes me feel really bad. However, these apparently are also side effects of the tablets I am on.

    I was vomiting and unable to move for a day and was diagnosed with viral labyrinthitis. The nausea and dizziness is continuing so now I am wondering if it is just side effects and if I stop taking the medication it will improve.

    ?Guess it will be trip back to the GP.

    ?Its good to know that I am not the only one out there suffering and not really sure where to go next.  Thanks

      Val, viral labyrinthitis causes vomit and nausea along with dizziness. I've had that before. My doctor gave me something for the nausea and it really helped. Are you taking medication for the VL?

      Hi can you tell me what your dr gave you for the nausea ? I had stematil whilst I had vestibular dysfunction but then it didn't work anymore .
