having had a few utis which were dealt with by antibiotics now find the irritation still there. advice from people including gp is dont jump into cystoscopy as it can leave you worse than before as theres no cure for irritable bladder. any helpful, comments.

Ooops - forgot two important things.
Constipation!
Keep "regular" try to go every day so you don't have a heavy colon sitting on your poor bladder!
Also, sleep, sleep, blessed sleep - so critical to our mental health.

Do you ever check the PH level of your urine?
When my strip shows a low level, say in the 5's that means my urine is acidic and the bladder is likely inflamed.
Acidic urine leads to burning when I urinate and irritates the tissue down there as well.
Stress can affect the acid level but, also, what you eat and drink.

do you think cystoscopies have caused more problems than you had? DRS ARE VERY QUICK TO PERFORM THEM YET THERE DOESNT SEEM TO BE MUCH IN WAY OF SUCCESSFUL TREATMENT MAYBE SOMEONE WHO HAS HAD THESE CAN ADVISE
