Daughter just diagnosed with hsp

hi just been dicharged after my 7 yr old was rushed into hosp with suspected meningitus after 2 docs and lots of bloods taken they say HSP shes on calpol and ibuprophen which doesnt last long shes in pain walking sleeping etc and has bad itching shes covered in very bad rash from toes to waist and arms she has chest infection which they think caused it now has to go weekly for urine and blood pressure any tips and advice from very worried mum thanks mel

    hi my son is 15 he has had HSP on and off for the last 3 years. He usually gets steroids which seem to be the only thing that gets rid of his terrible stomache pains but hes not allowed to have anymore at the moment. can any one suggest anything he can do to cope with the pain?

      sorry to hear that 3 yrs!! all i can sugest is my daugther used to like soaking in a warm bath for ages to help with her tummy pains

      We were also told it would last about 6 Weeks, but my son is still having flare ups. Mostly joint pain, but this week for the first time he had the horrible stomach pain. his Dr. prescribed diclosimine which did help.

      We are also doing a lot of hot baths to help him relax. Recently he has been experiencing headaches. does anyone know if this is related to the HSP?
