Day 2 after TLHR

Good morning,

Well yesterday was a mixed bag. After a painful first night I felt better , nurse helped me wash and dress and physio got me up to walk around...and I could per in the loo rather than bed pan which is great ! Downfall , I had so much pain relief the night before that I vomitted and stomach contents out so just had some toast last night. Much better night as I actually slept and only some discomfort no pain ...operated leg feels like a block of led lol....I've just remembered I ordered pancakes for breakfast so am looking forward to that ...

    My husband moved into our trailer at night to enable me to spread my hippie paraphernalia (ice pack, grabber, 10,000 pillows, walker) all over the bed and our room. I could flick the light on to visit the washroom and grunt and groan as much as I needed to. He did this for a whole month and I appreciated it... but missed him 😍

      Yabut, I have got used to spreading out and having grabber etc, around but, it has been 12 weeks on wednesday and hubby is making noises about coming back to our bed. I shall have to get back to normality I expect after all, he has been very good about letting me recover.
