Hello everyone.

I'm Michael.

I posted all once here. I found that it helps in parts.

Iv recently had a on set of health anxiety and depression. Continually think of death and nothing after death.

Strong thoughts of where do we go when do all living things go this followed all from a health scare I have doctors appointments in place along with councilling and currently on a short term does of diazepam 2mg 3x a day.

I'm find each day hard, I'm not been able to eat for 2 weeks only force feed Iv last 9lb in weight and scared the weight lose and not craving food is cancer and not anxiety.

Blood results come back fine that said. I'm also book for a ultras scan.

I'm finding talking to people is helping has anyone else or is currently going thought this, anyone close to Nottingham area.

Please I hope for a reply.

I get severe health anxiety too. I used to get a weird feeling around death and nearly went into panic attacks thinking over it.

I can assure you that your lack of appetite is completely to do with anxiety, further evidence of this, is the fact your blood tests came back normal. When I was at my worst I could hardly I eat, I lost half a stone and whenever I did eat, I threw up. If you think about it, it makes sense, when we are constantly in a fight or flight fearful mode (which anxiety attacks are), we are not going to be able to even think about eating. Our body is designed that way in order to survive, it's a survival instinct. But the fear is false, it's not real. Anxiety can create so many symptoms.

An example of this is when my nan went into elaborate detail of a scary condition. After feeling completely fine, I started to mimic the symptoms she was describing, the mind is so powerful!

I'm about two and a half hours away from Nottingham. If you ever need to speak or need advice, please don't hesitate to talk. I'm going through this horrible thing myself but you can get through it. It's a behavioural habit, not a disease or a life long condition, a habit!

By the way, I had acid reflux and that was, at least in part why I had such severe nausea, I think. Eventually I found a natural product that helped me get on top of it. But before that, a doctor prescribed a drug, I think it was called DOMPERIDONE. Helped me tremendously! Spelling may be off. My nausea started lifting very soon and slowly was able to eat properly again!

There is a lot of us having acid reflux aswell. Anxiety really effects stomach I guess. I am taking PPIs for quite some time and I see small improvement, but way too small then I expected. I am having big problems with nausea last couple of days actually. Could you tell me what natural product did you take please ? I am eating very clean and taking medicine, but results are not as good as I expected to be. It is also true that this is supposed to be slow process....

The natural product that helped me so much was BETAINE HCI.(NOW brand) Always take it with food.

I think I took one with every meal at the beginning and gradually tapered it down to none at all. My husband used it also with good success.

My husband and I both use CALMACID also from a company called meleleuca. They're chewable and usually help within 5-10 min.

Damn well feels like it!😥 Steep the teabag to gain the full benefits and drink it hot. It's great stuff, 1 prmosie you, but let's say it's an acquired taste. In plain terms, it sucks!😁

Acid reflux is not completely treatable? I have for like 6 months now sad

Yeah I already drink it. Personally, there is nothing that tastes too bad for me. I can pretty much eat/drink anything if I have to :D

You never suffered my late mother-in -laws cooking!😥 It's not that it's not treatable It's more a case of it being ongoing control.once you get on top of it you be able to manage it xx

It will get better! Mine did. But we're a bit like cars, lol. We have to keep on top of the maintenance or our "parts " go rusty smile Once the reflux is under control keep on top of it, so to speak smile No acidic food/drinks. No late night pigging out. Moderation with fried/greasy food if you must go there and keeping hydrated.

      It's all good smile

Please report the double posting to enis. He says only two of us are complaining, and five have told me they did. I just don't get what's going on.
