HAVE YOU HEARD THE LATEST  NEWS THAT DOCTORS ARE GOING TO BE GIVEN £55 FOR EVERY PATCEINT THEY DIOGNOSE WITH DIMENTIA

I KNOW THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FIBRO DIRECTLY

BUT DOES BARE OUT WHAT I SAY ABOUT DOCTORS BEING PAID BONUSES TO PUSH MEDS AND REFER PEOPLE .

HOW SAVE ARE WE IN THERE HANDS . REALLY .!

MAKES YOU WONDER.

    The country is England, not the rest of the UK and it is a 6 month trial.

      A doctor on BBC News this morning explained that GPs have not asked for this additional funding and they would probably rather it was spent on better support for their existing dementia patients.

      thanks!and below the piece is an article about conflicts of interest disclosure in NICE re statins. there are  conflicts of interest due to members of NICE also being involved with pharmaceutical companies that manufacture and distribute the same drugs they are supposed to be over seeing independently !!!!!!!!!

      well why not we followed them with supermarkets and hyper markets

      where we buy to much of the wrong type of food and poor quality meats .

      where on the continent france italy and spain still shop mostly the old fashioned way , at deli's bakerys, and market for groceries . althought super markets do exsist in france and other countries they are stritcly controlled and not in the towns . . my brother lives in the south of france and shops local . and has good quality stuff . tobacanists sell smoking related items , butchers sell meat , bread shops sell bread there not allowed to cross over into another another unrelated item

      yes...its so lovely and when you go into a shop everyone says goodmorning to you and when you leave you say goodbye to all and everyone responds....so civilised!!

    hi tina its a good idea as dimentia should be more reconised! but is scarey to think doctors have this power and give people meds so easy, we all forget things quite discusting! great post tina we need to be aware of this x
