Dementia and GP payments

HAVE YOU HEARD THE LATEST  NEWS THAT DOCTORS ARE GOING TO BE GIVEN £55 FOR EVERY PATCEINT THEY DIOGNOSE WITH DIMENTIA

I KNOW THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FIBRO DIRECTLY

BUT DOES BARE OUT WHAT I SAY ABOUT DOCTORS BEING PAID BONUSES TO PUSH MEDS AND REFER PEOPLE .

HOW SAVE ARE WE IN THERE HANDS . REALLY .!

    Hi Tina , This has been going on for years we are just now hearing about. Really sad world we live in most of the meds dont work , but for some they do!! sadly im not one of them. I have nerve damage from thr revised the meds they gave me make me dizzy, sleepy, and hard for me to go about my day . I hope one day i will get life back

      certainly has . put most people are lead by fear and think doctor knows best .

      half the time tina we know more than gps i told him what i want as i had researched it i tought him lol

      yes i told my gp that i thought i had fibro all he and the specialist did was confirm it.

      When the "Free PSA Test" first came out arond 1996 my local hospital did not get funding for it. The local BUPA wanted £110 (as only consultants draw blood here) plus the lab costs.

      I found  a Lab who did the blood work for £25 and asked my GP to take my blood and send it off at my expense. You know more about the prostate than I do he said. When the results came back I had to interpret them for him.
