Dequalinium chloride or metronizadole?

I was treated BV with Fluomizin, which is dequalinium chloride and therefore not an antibiotic. BV returned after a good week, only this time it wasn't a fishy smell nor yeasty. I don't know how to describe it, but I know it isn't right. Gyno now gave me antibiotics for chlamydia without doing any tests. I've never had any discharge or unpleasant feeling, just the smell. I was thinking if she was too quick with giving me antibiotics for chlamydia and instead should prescribe metronizadole. Did anyone use Fluomizin and what's your "impression"?

I really, really hope I won't jinx it for saying this, i'm on day 6 of doxycycline and after more than 3 months my vagina finally smells the way it should. I literally shed a tear. I guess my gut feeling doesn't know jack, lol and it was chlamydia afterall. Symptoms showed 2-3 weeks after I had sex with a new partner for the first time, so that's about right. He has showed no symptoms, so had no idea he has it and is on doxycycline now as well. I guess massage oil was just a coincidence.

Almost every website states one of the symptoms as yellow, frothy discharge, but with me the only symptom I had (fishy and first and weird smell later) was indicating it's BV.

The smell omg I at one point smelt of the sewers and that smell came through all my clothes and on to my sofa and I've never ever smelt like that in my life .

I tried 2 rounds of antibiotics and the cream antibiotics and nothing touched it I'd tried suppositories and then someone messaged me on here and told me about boric acid and I purchased boric acid and it worked but my vulva doesn't smell fresh anymore but maybe that's because I no longer use female products down there I'm just using something called Aquarius cream mo perfume etc .

boric acid worked I went to the clinic in was clear of bv but my inside smells fresh but there's a odd smell in the morning nothing like fish its more alkaline smell but I've not felt normal for 3 years ..

Now I'm 3 days post doxycycline and while vagina seems ok knocks on wood, it has that salty, slightly acidic smell. I noticed that my vulva has urine smell. I do wash myself, use cotton panties, drink 2+l of water, wipe after I take a pee. Basically do everything I did before, but I never had this smell. I will use vaginal probiotics, but I'm waiting for my period to start any day now and don't want to stop in between. Does anyone know what this might be?

It turns out my gut WAS right and it wasn't chlamydia afterall, because awful smell returned again. I'm waiting for an email from my gyno office when can I come back.
