I was awake several times last night as I seemed to wake every time I had turned over?........ and so my hubby got up with my little one as we take it in turns due to him working 12pm-6pm three times a week Mon Thur, Fri, two hours on a Tuesday and eight hours on a Wednesday 12-8......so not long hours as such for him (apart from Wednesday's)but because he lost his sleep in he has been snappy all day...... I should have got up myself as I got up at 10.30 due to having an appointment with the optician........ anyway I know I won't do that again as I rather put up with the pain and fatigue than put up with his manner!!!!!! Ethan my little one is at nursery tomorrow thank goodness!!!!
So I will try and go to bed earlier tonight????? we will see? I do hope you all ok and I hope you get a better night sleep than I have done........ the funny thing is that the lycra seems to be working on the fibromyalgia but obviously not shifting the Osteo pain  even if I am taking strong pain killers!!!!!!!!!
Take care everyone and keep smiling as that is all we do!!!!

I don't know how you cope having to get up to your little one! I suppose though when you have no choice you just get on and do it. Must be hard for you. My husband does nights on his shift every now and again. I do miss him and never sleep as well when he is on nights as I would any other time. At least I don't have to worry about disturbing him if I do have to get out of bed during the night.
I should be sorting things out tonight for going away on Friday but comes to the evening and just feel to tired to do it. Not got Molly tomorrow so gives me a day to myself and can do things in my own time.
It is really hard having to lots of pain going on! What works for fibro dosen't always work for the Osteo.
Can't work this pain thing out lol
I say I will have an early night and don't always do it. Then next day when wake up think I wish I had. Sometimes for me staying up a bit later I do sometimes sleep better.
Well I'm going on now hope you get some better sleep.
Best wishes to everyone!

Been to zoo today with my son, thought I managed very well, until I tried to get out of car when we got home. Boy was I stiff! couldn`t get up stairs at all. I`m like you Tess have learnt to do things in manageable chunks or risk paying for it afterwards. I`m certainly paying for what was a very enjoyable day out. I there no justice with this condition???
Hope you have a good break Tess and are not on too much pain.
take care all

Thanks Linda hope to have a bit of a rest. The hardest job is getting everything ready before we go. Try to start a good few days before so i don't have to do all in one day lol!
It is a shame that when you have had a good day out it has to be spoilt by our aches and pains. But if we didn't do these things we wouldn't get out anywhere.
Still got a bit more loading up to do then be ready to go on Friday dinner.
I seem to take everything but the kitchen sink lol. Oh well better to be prepared.
Hope you all keep well!

Well have had my mri scan brought forward to next saturday now, yes my nhs service in wales works on a saturday!!!!!!!
Going away on friday for a few days rest without my children, they are going to their grandparents for a long weekend and to be spoilt rotten no doubt. A bit worried with coping with the walking and the car journey of three hours but will have to stop at regular intervals to get out and stretch. Trying to clear all the washing and house work as you know what it is like do not want to come back to a mess but am getting no where fast.
My husband gave me some good news last night though, Work has been phoning me non stop to find out when I am going back but I have a sick note till september the 3rd, and after mentioning that I could not face going back after all it is working nights he said that if I did not want to go back I did not have too!!!!!!!!. He has started a new job and is earning enough for the both of us, we are very fortunate to be in this position but I am so happy at the prospect of not having to go back and when I come in crawl up the stairs in pain each day..
Hope you are all not finding the damp weather too much to cope with but chins up I hear the weekend is going to be nice.
catch up with you all soon

Where are you going for your weekend away! We are going away to on Fri til Tues to Telford, Shropshire. Going to iron bridge to see the first iron bridge that was built. Going away in our motorhome.
You must be so relieved you don't have to go back to work. Don't think could go out to work now! I also am lucky as I am 52 and with all my children grown up now we are lucky enough to be able to manage on my husband's wages. Also he does shift so wouldn't really be practical for me to go out to work or wouldn't see each other. He has to do three different shifts that fall two out of four weekends. He does get four or five days off during the week in between each shift. His shifts are 12 hours so need time off in between to catch up.
No what you mean about the long journey it does take its toll on your legs. If we travel any distance my legs feel really stiff ater so long. We have about 2 hours to travel so will need a rest also. We are lucky with having our motorhome can pull into layby somewhere and have a cup of tea and can stretch our legs.
It is good to go away for the rest but like you I have been spending all week trying to get the house tidy and ironing done. I have my son home from uni at the moment so will leave the house clean and tidy. But not the same as leaving the house empty when you go and knowing it will be really tidy when you get back. He is not too bad he keeps it tidy but still not quite the same.
Well have a good rest Helen and speak when you get back.
Lets hope it is sunny weather everyone!

You sound like I was 8 months ago Helen I had five flights of stairs to go up at work and couldnt stand it as by the time I got to the top my hip hurt extremely and would go numb....... this was the main reason why I gave up my job at the building society....... gutted but my husband said He didn't want me to be in a wheelchair!!!!! So that was that  my career was put to an end...... didn't have the concentration neither
I do hope you have a lovely holiday Tess too, hope your pampered  and no stairs to climb!!!!! I would like one of those iron pressers like B Smith used to have on prisoner cell block H LOL brings back memories lol but yeah better than standing doing ironing
Got my appeal notes back today from DLA...... what a joke..... they say that the doctors are contradictory and I going by what the doctor has said that I do not see ..... the first medical report they asked for even though I did not put his name on application......... and yet they go on to say about my shoulders and I stated I have trouble washing my hair as I can't lift my hands to check if the soap is rinsed out due to the pain in my shoulders, but yet they go by what my GP had said and as he said I had full movement in shoulders....... this is only set on the basis I have not gone into every detail with my GP but recently I have had x-rays in my neck/shoulders and then hip and so we will see the diagnosis from this to submit the evidence further  makes me sick..... no two days are the same...... apart from I am in constant pain no matter what  anyway I will see what to do when I get advice!!!!!
My shoulders is in so much pain again and so I am going to have to go as it is hurting whilst I am typing, take care everyone and I do hope it is a warmer day tomorrow so we all can relax a bit better....... my osteo however as been nagging somewhat so I predict further rain....... lol
Gentle hugs xxxxx

How are you all today! I ache all down from the waist below and woke up overnight and found it hard to get back to sleep. Think some of it at the moment is hormonal lol! Not very good when going away but just have to get on with it.
Ses the only stairs I have to go up and down is the one to get inside our motorhome and the one to sit in passenger seat so that is much better! A bit hard when I come back though and have to climb about 12 stairs upstairs to bed. I always get pampered luckily when away as my husband does all the cooking for me! I prepare the salad etc and do some of the pots! So it is a much easier time for me and restful as I am not doing any housework for a few days!
The only thing is when we come back and have more washing and cleaning to do! Still got my son at home from Uni but when he goes back will have an empty house and then should come back to a tidier house. He is quite good and keeps it reasonably clean and tidy. But it is never up to our own particular standard lol.
All my children will be let home by the time we go away in September to take my sons things to his shared house in Preston. My youngest daughter his twin is moving in with her boyfriend at the beginning September. Not to say when we are away they will not pop round the house as they all have keys. At least someone willl keep an eye on things!
Well got to go now as need a nice cuppa and something to eat!
Keep smiling everyone

Contact Chimera, with your hobbies and interests, a bit about your medical conditions briefly and that is basically it, I was an insurance administrator so I mentioned that I think?
I do hope you all are having a good day my arms are aching so much, so I feel the fibro has come back with a vengeance and I was right it is raining today, so my body told me it was going to  can only laugh eh?
I would leave your kids with a household chores timetable  and see if they keep up with it you may be surprised  then you would have no house work to do xxxxxxx
Take care everyone xxxxx

Hope your pains ease in your bath! Sometimes a good soak helps a lot.
Still to do the housework list yet lol! Good idea though

Is it only me who can`t get in the bath?? I would love to soak to ease my stiff and aching muscles but it takes me all my time to step over the bath to take a shower, sitting down is impossible!! Of course DLA said I didn`t need help with personal care. Lol
Its my knees mainly I think and Locum GP said he \"suspected\" I had arthritis!! Think I must query it with my own GP now he`s back.
Well I hope you`re not in too much pain today and have good weekend. A good holiday for Tess too.

When will they llisten to you it must be so frustrating for you. I would get it checked out with your doctor and see if it is arthritis. Maybe they will take you more seriously then! :o
I have really horrible aches and pains at the moment think it is due to be going through menopause with my hormones. Also we had some rain overnight that always makes my joints and muscles hurt even more.
I hope you are ok Ses not too much pain today. :o
I have a poem for you all might make you all feel a little better. Found it on the internet and think someone had written it on an american site for fibro.
Imagine never feeling good, when you know of no reason not to feel good.
Imagine feeling pain in multiple areas of your body for no apparent reason.
Imagine feeling like your verbal and motor skills are impaired when they were fine a minute ago.
Imagine like you have missed sleep for a week when you have just gotten out of bed.
Imagine something going wrong, with our body everyday, when you have nothing out of the ordinary.
Imagine having uncontrollable shakes and tremors and shocks of pain run through you, and disappear as quickly as they came, leaving and awaiting their return.
Imagine having, to liva a \"normal\" life in society, yet knowing your abnormalities will mess that up for you anytime of any day.
Imagine striving to be the best mother and wife you could be and being left to feel useless many times over and waiting to feel normal again.
You have now Imagined what it is like to be be. I live with FIBRO.
