    Oh Di

Please, please be careful, its never a good idea to take meds prescribed for someone else. You must be so down with all the pain and the loss of your friend I expect you`re not thinking straight at all. Is your GP a person you can talk to? You need lots of extra support at this sad time. Remember we are all here for you so just have a good rant on here if you have no-one else.

    Keep in touch

HI Tess, Di, Linda and everyone x

Linda I would ask for an x-ray on your knees as I was getting pain in my shoulders and hips and I get the results back this Tuesday........ not worth hanging around hun my theory is if it hurts ...... get it checked lol as Fibro can not always be the cause as I have found out!!!!! Linda I do get help in and out of the bath but once I am in it does help  for a short while. Yeah and as Tess says they might take you more seriously if it arthritis in your knees, as all I ever got before was it may be the pain from the fibro....... I knew more about fibro than the doctor so he didn't seem to take it seriously!!!!!

Hi Tess I have that poem I put it on another thread somewhere? lol

Di I am so sorry to hear of your loss, your fibro will be increased ten times over as it did when my cousin who suddenly died at 19 for no apparent reason, her liver packed up after feeling sick as she was on a life support and then bless her she went to the house above........ here is a poem I wrote for her, and this is for your dear friend.....

    [color=orange:a42779eeee]A Poem for our Jamie-Lee

[b:a42779eeee]Jamie is in the upstairs room

    In heaven up above

She is looking down on us

    And sending back her Love

If you see a star at night, twinkle in the sky

That is Jamie waving and saying she is fine

Be so strong to you all she would say

But please try not to cry,

As if it rains that is her showing there is no goodbye

And as the wind that blows

    She’ll blows you a kiss

And she says to us all

Our family how much she will miss

When the sun shines she is smiling with Glee

As Jamie is happy sitting with grandparents having a cup of tea

So please do not cry for Jamie she will Say

As you will see how happy she is another beautiful Day

    [/color:a42779eeee][/b:a42779eeee]

Yes Di I would not use those meds as you are experiencing more pain due to this awful time......... take every day as it comes and remember Irene is no longer suffering........ she will have been suffering in many ways to, as she would have had the pain from saying goodbye to a loved ones, and then her pain from her illness so Di just think of this poem I had written and think of Irene sitting in a beautiful garden in heaven smiling and having a cup of tea, as I know with my loss 12 weeks or so ago it kind of help my pain from my loss xxxxxx we are all here for you ....... gentle hugs xxxxxxxx

It is a lovely sunny day today and so I loved ones are smiling, and we are happy too as the warmer weather agrees with us too xx

Take Care Everyone and I hope all our pain today is somewhat better xxx

    Hi Di, Linda & Ses

So sorry about your friend Di no wonder you are feeling really low and in pain. Like Linda said we are here for you to talk anytime. Don't be alone we are all here for you! Please be careful with the morphine and come on the site and we will be here for you! I come on most days but have been away since Friday.

Hi Linda I hope you are doing ok. We all feel really down at times and it must be worse when you loose someone so close.

Thought your poem was really lovely that you wrote for your cousin Ses.

It really helps you to understand and accept why our loved ones have gone. It made me think about my cousin who earlier this year lost her first baby as soon as she was born. My husband Stewart wrote her a little poem about the stars in the sky as well!

Hope you are coping with your pain in your hips. Had a good time away with not too many aches and pains. Some days were worse than others.

:o I managed to do some walking and for a couple of days my husband went out on his own. He didn't mind as he went to a pipe museum and other places that I wasn;t interested in. I stayed in the van and had a read and rest. We both went to a victorian town and we had changed our money into the old currency of pounds, shillings and pence.

Well will speak to you all again soon.

    Hi there folks xx

Just found out from x-rays I have cervical rib in my neck........ never heard of it before but it is kind of a relief as I now know why my arms are a sleep when I awake in a morning ( I am laying on my back) and I drop things for no apparent reason with weakness.......... I googled before, and it appears the symptoms I have are the same!!!!! the new doctor however I saw today said it was all wear and tear...... cause I have the osteo in hip too I think he didn't have a clue but all the same he was cheerful....... I will wait and see my doctor next week and see what she says? at least I know I am not imagining things and surely now the DLA will know by this evidence I do have further problems!!!!!

I do hope you all are having a better day than me, roll on the better weather!!!! 8) Suppose to be hot in the next couple of days????? probably when the kids are back at school

Gentle hugs to everyone and kisses to you all xxxx

    Hi everyone

Glad you got a nice rest Tess, its back to the grind now? Lol Its good news Ses that they have found the cause of some of your problems, hope your GP and DLA will take you more seriosly now.

Hope you are ok Di? Take care of yourself

Its back to GP tomorrow for me to review new ant-depressants. I`m up to the full dose now with no side effect, thank goodness. They seem to be working with the Amitriptyline to help the stiffness too. Its this awful fatigue that really gets me down, I changed some sheets yesterday and had to rest after I had taken the dirty ones off before I could even load the washing machine never mind put the clean ones on the bed!!!

Hope now I`m feeling more calm I can explain things better.

    Take care everyone

    Love Linda

Hi Ses, Linda, Di and everyone!

Really good news for you Ses :o Like you say at least you know what is causing your trouble. Hope all goes well when you see your own doctor.

It does make me angry though when the doctor says \"Its just wear and tear\" it really makes it seem as there is still nothing the matter and it is just part of life! Brings back memories of what a doctor said to be about going away and just get on and live with it

Hope you get on ok with your doctor today Linda as well. Its good that your new anytidepressant is being some help to you. I have got mine on repeat as I had been on it previously before. But I will go make if I feel its still not helping. Been on it for about three weeks now and definately think it makes me feel better in myself. Not sure if it is really doing much with the sleep or pain yet though  Probably still early days yet!

Hi Di hope you are coping a little bit better now. Just take one day at a time and if you need to chat come on and speak to us. Ses, Linda and I are on most days!

    Well all take it easy!

    Love Tess x x

    Hi there Folks

Well its been awful today cold and like winter the rain stayed off though so I suppose that is something!!!!! Been in pain in my shoulders so much today, but now I am confused to think is it the fibro or the cervical rib???? anyway just a case of having to just get on with it as that is all we can do!!!! So glad your tabs are working Tess and I do hope the tabs are working for you LInda also?

I hope you are not in too much pain Di? along with everyone else, so dreading the winter ????

    Hi Ses & Everyone

Didn't sleep to well last night with pains in my legs. Also woke up and my wrist was hurting too. It is so much better when it is warmer lol. Felt really light headed last night. Everytime I moved felt I couldn't walk straight. Feel better so far with that today. Did go bed for an early night not that it does that good!

It is so hard when you have several ongoing things at the same time. Never know whether it is fibro or OA.

We have got cloud here again today but no sun as yet.

I hope you get some relief from your pain.

Still thinking about doing the moderator thing. Don't want to rush into anything at the moment though.

    Well take care everyone!

    Love Tess
