Did anyone come out from anxiety without medication?

Hi! I suffer from anxiety for the last 3,5 months and trying to cope with it without medication. I tried Sertraline but got allergic reaction to it and had to stop. I am seeing counsellor, doing CBT, meditation and educate myself. It is MUCH better than it was at the start but I am not there yet. Have my worse days from time to time. But I don't want to take meds, I want to combat anxiety consciously so I can proper come out of it. Anyone who is combating anxiety without medications? Thanks.

I came through it after 11 months of DREAD. Mine started with a panic attack and it went downhill from there for about 5 months, then it was up and down after that. After 11 months I finally have it to a manageable point. It CAN be done!! Don't give up! I did not want to take medication either. It was a tough road, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Trust me.

Well done to everyone who gets through anxiety and overcomes it, with or withouts meds. But esp to those who fight with no meds as I think understanding the anxiety and counsciously fighting it is giving a good views on permanent results!!
