DIVI DINERS

Posted , 82 users are following.

Returning from a hospital session of Drips and Deprevation (food) I was handed a Low Residue diet to follow. Scant in products, and information what to do with said products, I searced the web for more information,

onlt to find contradictory eat's and don't eats, so I thought that WE the

sufferers of food deprevation should start our own Divi Diners club and see if we can throw some light on the subject.

Ilove mushrooms, but cannot find any info about them.

How do we achieve our five a day if we can't eat fruit? Is it O.K. to take the

skins off?

Can we have chips or roasties,or fish with batter on?

Spices, do any of you use spices. and what do you put on spaghetti?

Can we blitz veggies, as stews and casseroles are forbidden?

Pastry is allowed, but no mentoin of which type.

So. can we help each other ,then at least when ,or if we ,dine out, we can

order something from the menu.

I cannot eat boiled potatoes ,eggs (is it O.K to have a fried one?)

jelly and rice pudding for ever. .

So please join in and share your doe's and dont's. mushrooms eaters

would be good to hear from.

Jac - can you contact the mediator and ask about the Owl?  Do you have that facility?  Everyone would like to help and there's so much good will here.

      Hi all,

I've seen your posts here and feedback on the Uservoice site and will sort this later today. I will also post about how to get hold of us, other users and directing other users between discussions etc.

      Regards,

      Hi Jac/JB/Jon,

Ok, I have looked at this and there's nothing I can do. It just seems as though user irritable owl posted the discussion here https://patient.info/forums/discuss/stress-and-depression-257006 but has not posted since. I have added a direct link to this discussion in Jac's reply on that thread. Any user can post a link to other discussions if you want to direct users between discussions. These will not go for moderation as they are "in site".

You can view user profiles by clicking on the appropriate username where you can see what and when the user has posted if they have not stopped this information from being publicly viewable. You can also click the Message link on the profile page or the envelope under usernames in posts to send a private message to any user if they have not opted out of this.

There is a guide to the forums here https://patient.info/forums/discuss/browse/a-guide-to-the-forums-3313 where I will be adding more FAQs such as "How do we contact the moderators" etc. In the meantime if you have any general queries or comments about the site please send me a message as described above or the feedback link in the site footer as JB did - I also monitor that site for forums feedback. You can also reply to a discussion in the Guide group or add a new discussion there if you think the question and/or answer would benefit other users.

I can delete this and related comments once people have had a chance to read them so the discussion is back on track or can leave here for future reference, let me know which you prefer.

      Regards,

      Alan

Hi Alan, thank you for trying, is there no way you can direct her to Diners, or do they have to use a tad of intelligence? Whichever, I would prefer you to leave your info here, for a while at least, so I can let it sink in . Seems that we have spent enough time on someone who has changed their mind

      You just can't help everyone

      Hi Jacqui,

I did direct her in as much as I added the direct link to that discussion but if they do not visit the site again we can do no more, emails would have been sent informing her there were replies. It is not unusual for a user to post then not bother coming back or be delayed replying due to work or other circumstances. All you can do is post and see if the original user replies.

      Regards,

      Alan
