Dizziness, headaches, foggy, pressure in head & plugged ears

It's happening again, everyday it's the same thing and I don't know how to calm myself down. I think when ever I get these feeling I am going to pass out and die instantly. The dizziness gets so bad I have to hold my head and close my eyes I don't understand it. I always think I'm having a heart attack, stroke, blood clot in my head or cancer all the time because doctors still don't know why I get these symptoms. I get anxiety so bad because of the pain I get and I keep thinking the worse things. I keep thinking that i am getting the wrong diagnosis from the doctors and if I ignore the pain it is actually something serious then it's too late to do anything about it.
Tests that I got done in the last 3 years were: xray of my head and neck, mri of head, numerous blood work. I have done physio, chiro, acupuncture and massage therapy. Only thing that kind of helps is massage therapy which is what I am still doing now.
I am getting no answers and just worrying everyday. I just want these symptoms to go away I want my life back I don't feel like the same person anymore.

In fact i was having dizziness from time to time since years but did not take heed. Then last year I decided to do an MRI. It revealed nothing. Now 2 weeks ago, i had kind of a panic attack. I was feeling very dizzy and didnt know what i was having. i was trying to walk correctly but then felt very scared and had heart beating fast and breathlessness. I went to a GP. She gave me betaserc and vastorel and told me to walk like a robot which i did and worked for me at first. Now i am looking at an ENT and i am following kind of a therapy with him. first session seemsto help ease out the dizziness but the pressure in the head is there. it is not at one place but moving from place to place and small head aches not localised. However, i am also having numbness and tinkling in face and limbs and feeling so scared.i again went to see the ENT today and he told me that might be inflammation and recommended tests. The results are due next week.... What did your doctor told you?

Are you all still suffering with these symptoms or have you had any answers/diagnosis as yet?

Here is a brief overview of my experiences and hope it might help someone.
started over 2 years ago after a bad flu - with blocked ears mainly left, on and off for months, numerous doctors no diagnoses one ENT said best let it run its course! caused swollen lymph node in left side of throat had trouble swallowing. after that(2 months later) i experienced numb left arm - tingling and cramps around chest arm and ribs - more numerous tests (echo cardiogram , heart monitoring and scans) all come clear once again no diagnoses . ( all put down to anxiety ) repeatedly explained i was anxious due to syptoms not the opposite.. also CT scans head neck and back - all clear. At this point was loosing my SH#T... doctors insisting nothing is connected and repeatedly asking me to see a shrink. (Psychiatrist) .
after a year of griting it out and thinking i am crazy living with both major symptons on and off i decided to see another ENT
who instantly pointed his finger at the cause of me being a smoker ( i quit the next day ) it has now been 11 months since my last cigarette and no improvement .
During the last 11 months it has been on and off - all summer dec, jan, feb i was mostly 100% only living with migraines being kept at bay by daily neurofen and panadol .
it is now march 19 and as of the last 3 weeks i have had vertigo return , headaches that panadol neurofen or codeine barely help and now today have had numb arm left side and chest tightness return, also blury right eye fairly common. It appears weather affects me greatly (being low pressure sytems affecting the vestibular ?)
numurous other test and medications trialed via ENT , through process of elimination he beleives i need surgery. inner ear not draining properly - although he wont know what to do until he looks inside, am forced to sit on a waiting list and hope for the best.
If anyone has had similiar surgery for sinus disease or vestibular neuritis or migraines would be great to hear from you !!
the only medication i found that helps is diazepam (valium) with the dizziness - also probaly great for anxiety. although not intended for long term use

Hi!
So it has been a few months since you have posted.
Have you received diagnosis? Has anyone?
I'm currently experiencing full ears & balance issues which I have been told isn't the same as vertigo (which is what I was calling it).
I have seen an ENT this morning who suggested it is neurological. I am beside myself & would love to know everyone's outcome.
It has been like this for 5 weeks with no notice, just out of nowhere!

Hi Salsagirl20, were you able to find help with your condition?
My sister is experiencing mostly vertigo and a little dizziness, nausea, constipation, pain in neck, left side under her breast (I think it's originating in stomach). To cut to the chase, we are now wondering if it's related to new meds or vitamins (B12) she is taking. Have you changed or added new meds, herbs or vitamins?
Also, the first vertigo episode subsided when she drank a lot of water. She finally went to doctor; was given some pills for the vertigo but now it's started up again. She is considering stopping the new meds/vitamins for a time to see if It stops/changes. She is thinking about starting taking one med/vitamin at a time to see I feel she can isolate the culprits. Hope this helps and you find your pathway to better health.

I recently moved to Delaware from Long Island. I get bouts of vertigo every now and then. Winter into spring is the worst time for me. Lately I have had very bad pressure in my ears, a sinus headache, neck pain, fatigue and nausea. I also have a thyroid problem which causes heart palpitations and had that checked out and my cardiologist said they were benign palpitations and not to worry. I had a severe attack of vertigo many years ago and have felt good since then. I'm guessing that the move to a different state isn't helping. I have never had sinus problems before. My nose is not stuffed up and when I do have to blow my nose it's clear. So I know it can't be a sinus infection. I'm guessing it's just the barometric pressure and the weather. I'm hoping this will end soon. I hope you all feel better!

Hi, am having the same symptoms since two years my family dr says it is allergies but I did two allergies tests and the result was no allergies, I take allergy medication every day but it doesn't help, I did sinus scan and it came fine I told my eye specialist about the head pressure especially it affects my eyes and it looks bulgy and smaller he did for me an eye ultra sound and it came fine, my ears are clogged most times, the head pressure in the skull is getting worse and I have light headed and dizziness and fatigue, my family dr says that nothing serious he didn't refer me to a head specialist, I went to emergency many times but they say the same no need for images nothing serious
My situation is getting worse, the eye specialist referred me for an orbit scan for head and eyes still waiting since two month for the appointment.

I see this thread has been going for quite a while, so I thought I would add my symptoms as they are very similar to everyone elses. Mine started about 2 years ago, but they were very mild at first. Soreness tightness around the back of the skull and neck and mild dizziness. Sometimes I would get small twitches in my muscles, not spasms just weird twitching which would come and go. However, recently the other symptoms have been getting worse, sometimes I feel quite unwell like a might have the flu. I have had blood tests for Anemia, diabetes and my neck xrayed, but no one can find anything wrong.
I am going to try and get transfered to a neurologist, but it is starting to cause depression which and I suffer from stress which either exacerbate my condition or is part of the cause.
Please let me know how everyone else is doing in this thread as it helps to discuss this with people who have the same problems.
