do these look like herpes or untreated BV ulcers ?

imageimage the white looking stuff is constant yellow-fishy discharge. I got swabbed and retested for herpes yesterday. I went to this clinic about 2 months ago and my blood and swab test came back negative for every STD but equivcol for BV. Ive been having unprotected sex with someone (casually) but I have no doubt they have multiple partners. I have no other herpes symptoms except ulcers and blisters. To treat my misdiagnosed yeast infection id been using coconut and tea tree oil supositories. Could those being causing these bumps and ulcers? Or is this BV ulcers?? please let me know

The main symptom of BV is thin vaginal discharge that has a strong fishy smell. it could be white, dull, gray, greenish and or foamy. the smell id sometimes more noticeable after sex

sometimes if you are itching or wearing tight panites/ pants you will get irritation. Tea tree oil is strong and cans sometimes cause bumps/ irritation, itchy bumps, contact dermatisis in delicate areas like face/ private areas.

the best thing is usually take mediactions, less contact with affected area ( using certain things like tea tree can set your ph off as well. i cant tell you if it is Herpes but i hope you feel better

Ive been having that thin yellow discharge constantly for a while now (and recently with a fishy smell). I had tested equivocol for BV back when i first got STD tested and BV was the only thing that came back abnormal. That was nearly a month ago. I had been trying to self treat it with tea tree oil, coconut oil and boric acid (topically and in supository form). The ulcers get worse and go away over night which doesnt seem common with herpes as the blisters heal over a course of weeks in most cases. I got retested a few days ago and the original ulcer swabbed. I dont get my results until friday. Im really hoping its just the tea tree oil and yeast/discharge thats causing these legions. thank you so much

Hi! they look extremely sore and does like like a nasty herpes breakout. are they painful? herpes sores tend to sting and be very painful. hopefully you can get your results back soon, in the mean time, bathe the sores with diluted tea tree to speed up healing. hope this helps x

theyre painful only when urine or something touches them. ive used tea tree oil and topicals but that only made them worse and i felt like it caused more bumps and irritation ):

try a salt water bath, it will sting but should help dry out the sores if you arent getting on well with the tea tree. the most important thing is to keep them clean and dry. try to stay undressed as much as possible to let them air. i have to be honest they do look like herpes sores, i cant think of anything else that would cause these types of lesions xx

I’m honestly too scared to put anything on them since they are already irritated. Ive tried everything from anti-itch cream, coconut oil, tea tree oil, calamine lotion, and an ACV bath. All of those either burned or irritated the lesions ): I’ve been trying to keep them dry especially after peeing or showering. I’ve been wearing loose fitting shorts/sweats with no underwear. Thank you for the input, I really appreciate it. I’ll be posting an update pic tomorrow morning and for the days to come until my Friday appointment where I will be receiving my results.

    update:

i went to an immidate care clinic this morning. my doctor right away said they looked like herpes ulcers. she popped the lesions and sent them for a lab test. i came back negative for BV, yeast infection and trich.I got treated for chylamida and gohnnorea in case it is one of those. I have a big feeling i will test positive for HSV2. Until then I will continue posting pics and updates.

Sorry to hear, but at least you seem to be taking it okay. It's pretty common, so you're not alone by any stretch.
