do these look like herpes or untreated BV ulcers ?

imageimage the white looking stuff is constant yellow-fishy discharge. I got swabbed and retested for herpes yesterday. I went to this clinic about 2 months ago and my blood and swab test came back negative for every STD but equivcol for BV. Ive been having unprotected sex with someone (casually) but I have no doubt they have multiple partners. I have no other herpes symptoms except ulcers and blisters. To treat my misdiagnosed yeast infection id been using coconut and tea tree oil supositories. Could those being causing these bumps and ulcers? Or is this BV ulcers?? please let me know

does this look like a cause of concern ? it doesnt hurt or anything... it doesnt burn when i pee . i think i may have some cyst inside my vagina .. they dont hurt unlessl i put my finger in and touch them

honestly those look like razor bumps. if you suspect you have a cyst I would look into getting that checked out immediately and it wont hurt to ask for a swab test or test for HSV.

does anyone have an idea what this is? this has been here since Wednesday. super painful, and itchy at times. some discharge at times but no other abnormal symptoms image

this looks like one of my blisters I first had. Has it looked the same since Wednesday? your best bet is to get this swabbed if youre concerned its herpes. try putting ice and keep it clean/dry.

part of me is really concerned that it is herpes, it is only this one bump as of right now. i had sex on Monday/Tuesday and this came up on Wednesday. i woke up and it was really itchy, i tried scratching it, so i think thats why it looks as bad as it does. herpes takes days to show up, at least 7? right? so the timeline doesn't add up to being herpes. i thought it was a friction blister or something not as serious. image

also, how did you get an appointment with this COVID-19 pandemic going on?

blisters can show up as early as a few hours after sex if youre already having tingles (friction causes the sores to worsen/appear). most outbreaks appear within 2-14 days of contracting the virus. in my case i believe I had a sore a few hours after sex and full outbreak after 2 days. I went to a clinic that offered std testing in their services and an urgent care clinic (I was in alot of pain and super worried so I went to urgent care for a more reliable option). both places accepted walk-in's so luckily I didnt have to make an appointment or wait long. Its very much possible to only have one blister in an outbreak so I wouldnt dismiss this as something minor. I hope you can get this looked at and feel better soon ❤️

Hi Maria, this looks like a nasty herpes sore. the timeline you mentioned is inaccurate, herpes can develop as early as 12 hours after exposure depending on the severity of the outbreak, and you may have already had it for months or years and not known until something set off an outbreak until now x take care x

so whats the point of going to the doctor if you guys are certain? i know this is the internet... but, how does this look similar to herpes clusters.. i know people are saying it can only be one, but it is an open wound, it should infect other parts. it would be on my vagina, not the outside of my vagina. at this point, i just feel like i am being trolled. i made an appointment for Wednesday, they asked me to bring my insurance card, so i guess this isnt free. i tried calling my health clinic and they are only accepting people that have tested positive.

Trolled ?? Maybe you should see a doctor before getting advice via the internet then... I have tested postive for HSV2 and had a blister like yours, you asked for an input and you got one. I had blisters on the outside of my lip, vulva and anus and they did not spread to other parts of my skin/genital area via rubbing or contact.

My insurance didnt cover my clinic appointment so im not sure where you got the impression this would be free testing. Ive been sleeping with my new partner for 5 months and have just gotten symptoms. Yes, most cases will show physical signs in 2-14 days however they can appear months to YEARS later. Instead of being rude and claiming we are "trolling" please take your health concerns elsewhere or should i say to a medical professional. I gave you my input based on my own experience with herpes so Im not sure why I would lie or joke about something most people are scared of. Goodluck

the point is that whatever it is will need treating. we are not experts but you asked for advice and we have given it to you, you may be lucky and it could be something else, but herpes is the only thing i know of that could cause that kind of sore on your genitals. Normal sexual health screenings do not test for herpes unless you ask for it specifcially so it doesnt matter when or who got a clean test last time. the only way you will truly know what it is is to go to the doctors. i am from the UK so i have no idea how much it will cost you but you really should get it seen.

it just doesn't make sense as to how i would have contracted something this serious... being, i was with my ex for a year and a half, we got tested last july. i've been sleeping with a new guy for a month, and this just pops up? i feel like i would of had symptoms way earlier than now. considering i don't have the healthiest routine. it just isnt adding up to me.
