Do thyroid levels influence LS?

Posted , 8 users are following.

Lately my bloodtests showed that the thyroid level is a bit hyper.  The migraine I used to have many years ago with a hyper thyroid is back again.  And my LS has acted up and renewed some white parts.

Other people have wondered about the same - does the level of our thyroid have any influence on LS?

    Hello hanny

sorry to hear you're having a problem. I also agree that resolving thyroid issues can help LS.   I've spoken, on other forums,  to at least 2 women who have said that after fixing/stabilising their thyroids their LS went away!

I have a suggestion if its any help.

Might you try taking lots of raw cruciferous veg? These can lower our metabolic rate due to the goitrogens which are slightly anti-thyroid but also high in anti-oxidants... so broccoli raw with hummus for example? I was eating these twice a day at the time of being diagnosed with hypothyroid... so my numbers were affected... perhaps such a strategy might help you... since you'll want to increase your TSH.

Also do you think yuou might be a little stressed too? Have you been exposed to any chemicals? Eg Have you done any mega cleaning efforts? Those chemicals really get me. I just can't use anything harsh. Hope any of this might help? x and hello hanny and everyone ... with love from sami
