As you know, there  are so many symptoms that are commom to ME/CFS.  I would appreciate so much getting a feel for if others often  feel as though they have the flu?  Not the stomach flu.  I'm referring to the way you feel when you have the kind of fllu that we are trying to avoid when we take the flu immunization.  I'm not just referring to your legs feeling like lead and having problems holding your head up and being dizzy and having a hard time walking.  I mean actually feeling sick.  Is this what most of you experience?  This is the part of the sickness that makes me want to go into non-existence because is just makes me so miserable, but I don't really see others referencing it in their posts.  Please, if you could let me know if you  and others you know with the disease experience this?

    Yes, I've had the flulike feeling in the past. In my case, it was very severe. The only way I could describe it was being CFS-sick. I felt especially ill with that feeling when I first got ME/CFS. I actually begged a specialist at UCLA to see me right away, because I thought I was dying.
