Does gastritis cause itching?

So I had an gastroscopy and I was told I had gastitis, they attributed my itching to the gastritis. I get these flares of red patches after eating or when I am exposed to dust of when something touches my skin.

Does anyone know for sure if gastritis causes such itching? I looked around on the internet but didn't find solid information about the relation of gastritis and itching.

I've this too. And I've had dyspepsia. I get itchy lower legs after meal and in the night. Not all the time though. Only if I've had alcohol. What I think happens is that the alcohol causes the lining of the stomach to get thinner. A temporary relief can be got by tickling/scratching the bottom of the feet, the white part. It improves blood circulation. A permanent relief can be achieved by having yogurt for a week. This improves the mucus lining of the stomach. If you have sinusitis, have yogurt less often, but over 2-3 weeks. I'm yet to find a cure. I'd get it again if I have alcohol. I have alcohol less than 8 times a year.
