Does Lung cancer show on CT Angiogram of lungs?

hey everyone. I was just curious and wondered if anyone knew. I was diagnosed with 2 very small PEs in my lung a few weehey everyone. I was just curious and wondered if anyone knew. I was diagnosed with 2 very small PEs in my lung a few weeks ago and I'm Drs are still trying to figure out the provoking factor. Since I know that malignancy can cause PEs, is it safe to rule out lung cancer based on the fact that I had a CT Pulmonary Angiogram? Does that test see nodules or cancer the same as a normal Chest CT would? My pulmonologist said yes but I wasnt certain if he understood my question. Thanks everyone.

    I don't know, but there are websites where you can speak to doctors online who would be able to answer more on specialist medical questions.

    I belong to some PE support groups, and talk to many people who have had a PE, and quite honestly (like myself) most of us never really find the cause.
