Ladies today my vision seems off. At times it gets blurry, takes time to adjust. Was at work when it started and had a major panic attack. My boss sent me home because of so many symptoms. This is the first time experiencing this. Also light sensitivity. Has this happened to anyone. I am so bothered. Help

Hi Sally.
My eyesight has really deteriorated since menopause resulting in having to get new glasses as my ability to see the words on a page has gotten worse. Its all part of the course. Nobody tells you what to expect when we hit this time in our lives. You are not on your own.

I have the right prescription glasses. Mine is more seeing floaters, lights or just generally foggy vision.

Perfectly normal. Mine is worse when I lay in bed in the morning, reading my iPad or similar. When I get up and look out of the window, my vision is blurry - like I'm wearing reading glasses for long distance vision. Scared the crap out of me the first few times, but after doing research, I can state that it's just another symptom of this f**kery!

Hello Ladies,
I have been suffering from Visual Disturbances Since October of 2018. I June of 2018 I was rearended on the highway and I had a concussion that went undiagnosed and It turned into Post Concussion Syndrome. I then remember one night that I had the worst headache of my life and the next morning stuttering my words. Then my Vision went south. I went to so many Drs. and had been going to so many Drs. I have so many Drs now and I go to multiple dr. Appointments a day....trying to fix things and feel better. Its been extremely rough. I suffer from so many Visual Disturbances. I am not sure if Perimenopause is playing a huge part or not. I see spots, double vision, trailing after images, "static" "Visual Snow" , Color Swirls of Pink, Yellow and Blue on white backgrounds, starbursts, shaky vision as well as "Heat Wave Vision" and Ghosting Images as well. Objects seem to move around....I see all of this 24/7 and been to 4 Neurologists and Neuro Opthalmologist and everything checks out okay until I had my Brain mapped and sent to the Netherlands and they saw that I am struggling to see. I am getting NeuroFeedback 2 times a week to see if it helps but my life has changed so much because all of this...I have been so down and depressed. I use to work as a Local 7 Union Ironworker in Boston, Ma and now I am just teying to feel better and get better. Your so not alone ladies.....I hope this helps and please if anyone is experiencing same things as me please let me know...Thank You😊🙏❤️

Hi Shana, we have talked many times before about our vision. I have every single symptom as you do and it all started after my first migraine aura. Just wanted to remind you that you are not alone. xo

Hi Staci,
Do you get Double Vision as well? I went to the Neuro Opthalmologist and they said my Optic Nerve and my Eyes are totally healthy but I had a car accident over a year ago and I had a concussion with whiplash. They mapped my Brain and can see that I am struggling to see.....

That is the one thing that I do not have. What is brain mapping?

Brain mapping is when they record the brain waves and then are able to see if you have had a TBI or Concussion, Anxiety, ringing in the ears, Autism, OCD, PTSD, Memory Issues, Insomnia etc.....I do NeuroFeedback ...which retrains the Brain....this

Shana, what scan did they use to diagnose you?

I was finally Diagnosed with Mold illness/CIRS. If you have all my same symptoms you might be mold susceptible or Multi-susceptible. You need to see a Mold illness/CIRS trained doctor.

Dear Sally
The answer is yes. I am four years post meno and at about the age of 50 i suddenly needed reading glasses, my eyes got blurred and i couldnt read small print. My eyes got sensitive to sunlight and any bright lights and they got dry and sometimes watery and sometimes had migraine auras too. The symptoms have eased from what they were but I still get dry eyes especially mornings
