I've just sent in a change of circumstances form. I got a text the next day to say I should hear from them with a decision within 2 weeks. I got a couple of calls about a week later to check details and got a back payment yesterday, which was about 2 weeks from when they first got the form. I was surprised it was so quick to be honest!

I should add that I haven't actually got a letter from them yet. Apparently they posted it last Thursday, so I'm expecting it sometime next week! Might be worth ringing them, if you're worried.

I rang and told them the changes and they said I had to fill in a form which they sent to me. It was a really long detailed one, but I think it was because I needed to claim income related ESA top up on my contributions based ESA. When ringing them, I've found if you call them between 8 and 9am you often get straight through without having to wait for ages.

Perhaps the form is just for more complicated changes in circumstances. I wouldn't worry about it. If you needed one they would have told you that when you rang them.

Best thing is to ring the DWP and ask them. I have just done a F2F a week ago. To reapply having had my award stopped in June. I then find a mysterious £47.80 appear in my account from them. No idea why so I will be ringing them too today.!
