I just took a look at some of the side effects of your meds. Jeez, they're some heavy duty medications.

You obviously have some serious depressive issues Susan, its a concern that your physician just keeps pumping out prescriptions rather than getting to the bottom of why you feel like you do.

At least 2 of your meds can have effects on the heart and blood pressure and list anxiety as a side effect. If it was me, I would be questioning the need for such high potency drugs. It cant be good for you.

I think i know what meds have an effect on your heart and blood pressure it could be the ativan and the losartan or is it the trazodone or the neurontin

It helps keep my anxieties down because i have high anxieties with panic attacks

I tried to get off the ativan at least I take 2 1/2 mg a day and 25mg of trazodone which is a small dose and then the 100mg of neurontin thats the smallest dose too because my boyfriend is on more meds he takes neurontin the 300mg durring the day and the 100mg at bedtime, than he takes lamotrigine for seizures, than he takes 850 metformin, lyrica, avodart, diovan, amlodipine, simvastin, a multivitamin, prilosec and his works fine with him he has no trouble with his meds just like my meds help me my OBGYN knows I am on these meds too and i do work with my doctor on these meds

I wasn't suggesting that you didn't know what side effects the medications you take can have. I merely said that maybe they are, in part, to blame for the way you're feeling.

You've posted discussions on this site and every time the ladies have been supportive and offered good advice.

I really would urge you to seek more specialist help for your anxieties because pills aren't always the best way. I took antidepressants and anti anxiety medication for 15 years and coming off them was the best thing I could have done. The meds dull the symptoms but that's all they do.

There is a better life for you Susan, I doesn't have to be buried in amongst the anxiety. Maybe take on board some of the good advice that these ladies take the time to give you and there had been loads of good advice. A good, clean, healthy and nutritious diet along with moderate exercise works wonders for depressive illnesses.

I really do wish you well

Counselling can be a good start. I had some cbt sessions which help you alter the way you think about things.

If that's not for you then just talking to a good friend can be incredibly stress releasing. Having a laugh is such good therapy, try and see the funny side of things (not always easy I know)! Things may seem dark at the moment but it wont always be like that.

Keep your chin up my love, think positive and take good care of yourself xx
