I have started to use this around 3 weeks ago... no side effects but not noticing much difference as yet either....

I guess it may take time to have an effect. I'm hoping it'll help, even slightly, with mood and thinning hair.

    Fingers crossed. xx

    Hello

I've been taking them for about a month with no side effects. I do think they are starting to help balance the mood, but think they can take a few months to work xx

Hi there, I've not tried evening primrose but have recently started taking 1000mg of Starflower oil (capsule form) 1st thing every morning. Def has a calming effect on me, & worked quickly. Using in combination with a bioidentical hormone cream applied vaginally. Big improvement, esp when getting smear test other day. A relief to me I must say.

    Hi

I've been taking evening primrose oil for about thirty years, I swear by it!! I came off it for two times and each time after about two weeks my anxiety heightened, then calmed down again once back on them, I still have anxiety but evening primrose in my case does dampen it down.

    Hi Sunaina.

I' ve tried evening primrose but unfortunately it didn t do anything for me. The only supplements that I can personally verify that they work, at least for me, are good quality flax oil high in lingan which has completely stopped my hot/cold flashes and good quality vitamin b complex which gives me energy and helps with my moods massively.
