Eye twitching

Hi ladies, I have all the symptoms in the world (43 years old), but right now is the eye twitching that drives me crazy.

Has anyone had it and mentioned it to their gp, and any comments on that?

This combined with dizziness, nausea and leg weakness brings quite unpleasant thoughts to my mind.

I just want to know it is part of the peri so I'd get a little beit more relaxed about it.

    Thanks for replying, pinkcatfairy. What does actually mean migraine auras? Are these headaches?

    My head is hurting every single day, although not that badly, but still ... every day!

      Hello Sue,

      Migraine auras are like zig zag type of thing thatbi got in my eyes it is hard to explain but they start off with your vision going slighly and then the zig zags they last about ten mins normally sometimes followed by pain over one eye, i didnt quite get the full blown migraine

      I have recently had this aura migraine also and eye twitching. I know this was a post from a long time ago, but did yours settle? How are you doing now? x

    I have the same annoying twitching in my right eye. I sometimes have sharp pain as well? Do you experience this at all?

    Yes I had the eye twitching on and off, I four years post meno and dont get it now

    I haven't mentioned the eye twitching to my gp. I shouldn't have, but of course i googled it and a bunch of similar symptoms are related to MS which freaked me out. This forum is very helpful in calming me down about that. I'm in menapause so I'm thinking that's all it is. I may try taking magnesium.

    hi,

    thanks for sharing about the eye twitching. i've had the twitching for about a week and a half and it's really freaking me out! mostly in my left eye. I'm turning 51 next week and have really had a run of horrible perimenopause for the last 2&1/2 years. and of course, googling just makes me think I'm a heartbeat away from something awful happening. Though this forum is older, it gives me great comfort. So thank you!

    Hi,

    I have the eye twitching. Always my left eye. I take 2 magnesium capsules on an evening. I take Magnesium Complex 5-800mg.
