I'm so scared it's never going to go away. Im tired of being looked at like I'm disgusting cause I know I'm not. I'm a very clean person always have been. I take like 3 showers a day and I'm so tired of getting out of the shower and feeling unclean. I want to get back to like I use to b so bad. If anybody cab help me on how to get rid of the smell that comes with this torture please help me!!!

Hi I'm sorry for you.  only suggesting but possibly x3 showers a day may not be helping your bv depending on what shower products your using as well.

Like you ive tried lots of things and read lots of advise but I went with the NHS advise to only wash using Aqeous cream ( cheap as chips cream you get from the chemist) which as the name suggests is a cream but it can also be used as a soap for lots of health issues one being bv.

its really really helped releave and keeps bv at bay so far for me anyway.

Femine washes are too strong and irritate Aqeous cream soothes and moisturises while making you feel clean and gets rid of the smell.

Hope that helps a little good luck

For me yes......as long as I follow the other rules too like not wearing tight underwear etc

Try it, it won't disappear on the first day but it should ease it.......

The advise is on the NHS web site have a look

Good luck I know it can make you feel so miserable

I use dove and it's just plane soap it don't have a scent but no matter how many times I wash the smell won't go away and it's so embarrassing. When I go anywhere I have people always coughing I know they can smell it. I hate it. Where do I get that cream at and how long does it take to work? I barely have any discharge I manly just have the odor.

In My country (Cuba)to fight this problem the dr told me take

    - Metronidazole pills for 3 days 2 t a day

    - Azitromisin 1 a day for 3 day

    -Clotrimaxole vaginal suppository 5 days

It's a Bomb for all the bad bacterias , so basically you gonna kill all of them ( food and bad)

For this reason contemporary you need to take plane yogurt and garlic 1 Dayli and whatever is good to reproduce good bacteria ( NO SUGAR AT ALL) during the treatment .

This one was the only way I get out of it, now im taking vitamin D3 and Im fell good .

Ps: the medicin you have to taked toghethers.

Im not a doctor I just want to share with you my experience , I hope it works for you.

I haven't tried Azitromisin. How do u get It? I know the only way I could get the metronidizole was by prescription. I have been on several different antibiotics and none of them worked I've also done the suppositories and they didn't work. I've done lots of home remedies as well and none of them worked. I just want something that will take care of this odor all my other symptoms are mild and I can deal with but the odor is horrible and ruining my life and my relationship. It's killing me mentally I don't know what else to do.
