Fed up!!!!

I have tried so many things and nothing has worked. I want to give up so bad. I'm so tired mentally and physically!!! I don't know what else to do. If I could get rid of the smell I could deal with everything else. The smell is ruining my life. It's created alot of problems in my relationship and at home. I'm so scared it's never going to go away. Im tired of being looked at like I'm disgusting cause I know I'm not. I'm a very clean person always have been. I take like 3 showers a day and I'm so tired of getting out of the shower and feeling unclean. I want to get back to like I use to b so bad. If anybody cab help me on how to get rid of the smell that comes with this torture please help me!!!

    Hi

    Have u tried boric acid vaginal capsule s for 21 days ? And then continue​ taking one capsule vaginally twice w week for 6 months

    Hi have you been tested for BV? Have had mine for over half a year but what made mine worse and possible cause was over cleaning! As it gets rid of the good bacteria so you end up with the bad taking over. Drs told me to avoid soap down there completely as we are self cleaning down there. I still take showers but avoid that area with soap and baths I won't put any soap in but wash after. You can use special cleaning stuff which is for people with BV. Should be able to get from a Chemist. There are also other BV products. Don't know if this will help you, my prob isn't the smell as never really had that but every test keeps showing I have BV and have been on Antibiotics which haven't done anything. Its made my life a misery so completely understand. My close family/friends can't understand why I can't get rid of it. sad

      Yea he test me every time I go to the doc and every time it's be. Uve been on ever antibiotic and none of them helped. All I have going on is a little bit of discharge and a very bad odor that I can't get rid of. I have tried so many things and nothing has worked. How do u find a chemist?

      Chemists are in the High street. Where you get cough medicine etc. Like lloyds Chemist or Superdrug. I get mine in Superdrug.

      Gosh, am suprised if there's nothing similar there. You may have to go to your Dr to get it, though have just been told that Aqueous cream is best for washing so am going to try that.

    Sorry post no 2! For some reason when I replied to you initially, it showed no-one else had posted!! Weird. So me asking you have you been tested etc after reading your replies to other people, well just ignore half my post.

      Hi Space......try Aqeous cream as a shower wash honestly it works.

      Feminine washes are too strong and add to the problem.

      i found that info on NHS bv web site

    Boric Acid will get rid of the smell. I buy a bottle of Boric Acid and 00 veg caps from Amazon and make them myself. You can only use these vaginally? NOT orally . Do some research on boric acid and vaginal ph .

      Just to make sure I understand, are you saying that Boric Acid did not work for the smell ?

    If you haven't tried the Antibiotic called Doxycycline Please ask your Dr if He/She could prescribe this for You Because I had tried Everything under the sun to get rid of my BV until I got a bad cold and sinus infection and my Dr Prescribed Doxycycline and after taking it for only 2 days my BV symptoms disappeared and have not come back yet in more then 6 months now and believe me it has been over 30 years that I have been battling BV. It would temporarily clear up but in days to a week later only to rear it's ugly self again

      It is used for Bacterial infections. I had a sinus infection that did not clear up on first round of antibiotics so my Dr gave me this and am I ever thankful she did. I also tried the peroxide method and seems to work for the day but just covers up the infection does not cure it

      Ask you Dr for the Doxycycline ! It won't hurt to try it
