Hi Michelle, Know how you feel. My first RTHR was booked for Jan 18th but I cancelled it because the circumstances weren't right. So surgeon re booked it for April 7th. But that was cancelled due to Junior Doctors strikes. So next date was April 14th and that was cancelled too! So then it was booked for April 28th and this time it went ahead. So I am now just over 8 weeks post op RTHR. I am also 18 months post op LTHR. I know it's disappointing Michelle but it will all come good in the end I'm sure.

Of course you are feeling down - all that pent-up emotion has to go. Very sorry to hear you have been postponed and I hope you get rescheduled quickly. I think you need a night out to forget your troubles ... or mabe order in a special meal. Either way, some form of derious distraction is needed
Take care ... I'll be watching for news of your new date.
Good luck.

Oh so sorry to hear that Michelle....like all of us I know you are anxious and trying to get prepared for the surgery and anticipating finally getting some relief and being able to heal soon. Not to mention all the other things you already did to get everything taken care of....Hugs.....and hope the time doesn't seem to drag on to awful long for you. Barb

hi barb, I really hope it doesn't either, the only positive I think is my children will be on summer holidays from school so I won't need to worry that they are upset at school.

It was my biggest dread. Organise something nice as a family and regroup!
