Feeling like I'm drunk

Hi I'm new here and i've had vertigo for at least 9 months now and is starting to really get to me. I feel so dizzy and everything feels like it's moving around. Does anyone know what I can do to get rid of this vertigo.
Thanks in advance

I get the 'swaying' type. IN the early days i also felt like,i was rocking back and forth. My eyes seemed to trigger a lot, but i had those checked and all fine. I have learned since then that this is due,to sight, hearing etc not being coordinated as such, so the eyes are trying to compensate if you like.i have a problem with reading or anything where I have to focus on one area for too long as it brings exacerbates it.
i developed Tinnitus about 4-5 years before this happened. and i had slighthearing loss in, i think, my right ear, which has become worse over the time i have this problem. I have inflammatory problems due to Crohns disease, which is well managed and I do not suffer with it very much at all. I was feeling healthy and energetic, then. Woke up,the next day feeling terrible. Bad head pressure, very insteady on my feet, the rocking and swaying and feeling like I was walking on a mattress. The Gp who came to my home said 'virus', stay in bed, fluids etc etc. I, pushed for anti biotics incase it wasnt, and he gave me a low dose one, which seemed to help a little.
when i wasnt feeling much better a few weeks later but able to get out i had acupuncture, and the first treatment worked....for 4 days!..and all thesubsequent treatments (11) didnt!
Exhaustion also is a big part of it. initially could hardly function. NOw I have learned to plan ahead and allow the day/s after doing something to rest. and any kind of other sickness, headaches, a cold, stomache upset seems to affect things and the 'dizzinness' is worse, sometimes accompanied by nausea.
I dont have a sinus problem as such, but when i wake up can be congested, but once that clears i am fine. I have cut dairy out of my diet for years now too. Can't think,of anything else, sure there is more, but dont want to bore you!!

To clarify, did you say that you saw a neurologist?

Hearing loss in the right ear.
Popping in the same ear
Right ear popping with the syringe (same ear again).
Please let me know what your tests showed after rechecking. I am very interested.
