Feeling like my body is tremoring and shaking when it's not

Does anyone else who has health anxiety have weeks of feeling unbalanced and dizzy when they are walking as well as on going feelings of your body tremoring and shaking inside like extreme nervousness when on the outside its not. This has been going on for weeks and of course I'm convinced I have something sinister. Blood tests are fine and usual doctors nurological tests and still waiting for my specialist appointment and Mri. It starts from the instant I wake up and effects my appetite and makes me so fatigued. This forum has been so helpful as I've never had anxiety before. Thanks in advance

Not really blurry vision. Kind of I guess but more unbalaced and a bit out of it when I'm walking. So I just want to sit down.

Hi there no when it first started I was not anxious at all and had never had any awful anxiety or panic attacks. Then I just started having there dizzy unbalanced feelings when I was out walking my dogs etc. I went to the doctors and had blood tests that were all normal. I googled it while I was waiting for the blood results and started to worry that I had Mr or something else sinister. I then literally got ever symptom , extreme fatigue, no appetite at all, which never happens to me, weight loss, constipation, belly aches, the dizziness continued all the time, numbness, pins and needles and the awful extreme me feeling inside of vibrating and shaking, and the humming/vibrating in my head. There symptoms have been going on now for 6 weeks, some days worse than others but never normal, lots of blood tests all normal as well as the basic nurological tests. I was sure it must be something like ms as I've been so unwell with it. The docs don't think so but I'm waiting on a specialist apt. Then after reading up on anxiety . I'm thinking it is a real posibility that my worry about dyeing could have caused all this. I've lost about 4 kgs over the 6 weeks.I'm sure because I've been so worried it's made me not able to eat much.

Hello. How are you doing now? I am currently suffering the exact same thing. I was hospitalized because doctors thought my palpitations was stemming from a blood clot in my lung. Turned out to be severe anxiety. All my blood word came back normal. I've always been a huge hypochondriac. I too feel like I am shaking all over when I'm not, feel dizzy and have blurry vision. My worry has cut my appetite which has caused me to loose weight on my already small frame. Over the last two months I have diagnosed myself with every disease possible. You are not alone in this.

Hi Adriana, have you gotten any answers about this? I'm having the same issues where my anxiety is sky high. I feel like my neck, arms, core, legs are trembling but according to my family physician, she can't see it. Please let me know if you've had any news on this!

      Hello Sarah,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this. In all honesty, it went away on it's own as my anxiety decreased. I saw plenty of doctors and an iridologist and felt very reassured after. In moments where I begin to feel nervous, it's starts to happen again. I know it's the most annoying feeling but figure out ways to calm down. You will get better smile

Hello there. I'm sorry that you too suffer from anxiety. Those symptoms you're describing are too typican in anxiety. i have them too. I also wake up with nausea lately. Health anxiety can really mess with your mind making you think you have something terrible and are about to die soon. I'm convinced I'm gonna die soon as well even though I had tests done. I highly suggest that you begin therapy, start searching more about your issue and educate yourself more on it. Then you'll be facing your problem and may be able to understand it and kinda control it. Psychotherapy might make that easier for you. Hang in there, best of luck!

Thank you so much for your reply. This website has been great, just knowing that other people have experienced the same symptoms and that maybe it is all from anxiety. When the doctor first suggested that i thought there was no way that from worrying about the original dizziness being something life threatening that i could end up so ill with all these other awful symtoms. Im 54 and have always had a bit of a worry about getting a terminal illness etc but nothing major and no other anxiety as such. But this is awful and has been going on for 5 weeks. As well as the shaking nervous feeling inside I have a sort of vibbrating generator noise in my head. Only really noticable at night in bed. Do you also get that. Thanks again

Yes! Totally. I feel like I'm visibly shaking but if I hold my hand out its practically as steady as a rock! I also feel like my vision is blurry! Sometimes it helps to know that it's just a "normal" sumptom of anxiety!

Thank you so much for your reply. It's reasurring to know others have experienced these symptoms. I try and explain them to my friends and family and they have no idea what I'm on about. Do you also have like a vibbrating sort of humming sensation in your head when you are lyeing in bed. Thanks again

When I originally started taking sertraline I used to feel like my brain was tingling! I suppose it's all the neurotransmitters re-fireing as the drugs start to work. I had all the dizziness/shaking symptoms for about 4 weeks and then they gradually wore off. I hope you're feeling a bit better soon xx
