Denise, if you need to cry do it. Been there too and still have bad days.  I am just over three weeks post op and all good but like you say, you can't just do what you want when you want.  My husband s brilliant but it's still frustrating having to ask for things. It is getting better now as able to do more but still get tearful. You are not alone so don't feel bad. Sending hugs. X

I heard other people go through it its only temporary it's something to do with having surgery medication and the old hormone levels.

    All the best

keep your chin up you will get through it x

    Dear Denise,

just one more person telling you that this will pass and you will feel better soon.  It's true, we have all been there and it is not a mental health problem, it's just a normal reaction to what is major trauma.

just take comfort that we are all here supporting you and wishing you well.

Just rant and rave, nobody minds!

    sending you love and hugs

      Hi Denise,

we are so clever us lot!  We,ve done the Operation, that,s behind us now. We both did it in February, when it was freezing and miserable, but look how it is now!   I hope Skipton is as beautiful as Romney Marsh.  Everything is coming into leaf and the herons are keeping me awake clacking their beaks in the night, standing in their nests in the woods behind me.  The Rooks are building in the Rookery, the Woodpeckers are hammering the trees and everything else is busy getting ready for the babies.  I can go walking and see the wild violets in big clumps, but I have,nt done that yet!  The sun is really warm just now and has melted the early frost and the sky is clear blue and empty!  We have Spring and Summer to look forward to, time to heal.

i hope your new head lasts a while!  It will get easier, promise!

      love and hugs

      hi sue

yes today Skipton is sunny but freezing brrrrrrrrr we have had some snow but hopefully that's the last of it. I do feel terribly sorry for the little lambs born into the cold or mr/Mrs swan on the canel.spring isn't far away I'm sure I'm looking forward to losing myself in my potted garden.

All the best enjoy your walking

      love and hugs

There were so many crying days for me.  I am 8 weeks post op.  I promise you it does get better.  I have to agree with you about mental health ..  I believe that not only do we need to work our bodies to feel better, we need to work our mind.  This thereapy should go together.  Wouldnt it be nice if it did.  Even 5 minutes to shout it out!!!  Sun shiny days are just around the corner!!!  lol Ginny USA
