So after a really bad year now feel like am getting some seen pain specialist yesterday an gave me stronger pain relief an also upped my other tablets.. I have had a few bad weeks with my pain an felt really dwn as I cudnt do nothing but feeling more positive now. Also seeing rhumetologist in Jan. An kidneys are functioning better for nw so am feeling very relived xxxx

      Hi Sadie have just started taking pregabalin an also take amitriptyline an co codamol as well I took my 1st pregabalin last night an slept better than I have in a yr only woke up once

      That's great I'm on pregablin 75mg a day 30mg of ametriptolin and tramadol when needed I feel lots better xx

      Am on 50 mg on pregablin twice a day but I have to increase it every week so I will end up 12 a day... An my amitriptyline are 10 mg which he wants me to take 6 a day eventually...

      That's great you feel loads better I just want to have a bit of a life back xxx hugs kirsty xx

    Oh Kirsty,

    Really pleased you are feeling better now you are on better pain relief, I am still waiting for the pain clinic, bet it won't be while after xmas tho for me......

    I do have facet joint injections Xmas eve tho that might help will have to see what happens........

      It's awful isn't it having to wait I waited over a yr an I cried all the time wen I had a bad flare up but mine as come quick ppl on here told me they waited over 10 yrs..

      I hope it does for you cos ano myself how bad the pains gets an this winter isn't helping at all😢😢..

      I was informed by the pain specialist mine was brought on through my pregnancy an ops I had last yr.. I have never in my life experienced pain like this..

    Well done you..i only take 25 mg of Amitriptilyne at 6pm have done for 16 yrs, never been increased, works sooooo well for me...no pain, lots of sleep yay..be blessed kirsty..have a lovely day..😚😘😍

      Mine where helping I did sleep a bit better but not as good as I did last night.. Mine are 10mg take them around 6pm as well xx

      I dropped my dosage down to 10mg once for a few months,

      thought i would be the dr, i was sooo worried about being addicted to them..i had heard a bit about them......lol......,they just did nothing for me, i went to the dr and he said: you have worked hard to get the correct dosage youve been put on 25mg for a good reson..now go back on it.mm m..i did..never looked back....some people take 75mg even 100mg...I'd be like a zombie...so working out the right dose for you/me does take time..maybe you need yours upped a bit?? ..be blessed Kirsty and have a lovely day😍😍

      Ye it's just trail an error isn't it... My mum as fibromagylia an she as 300mg of lyrica an she gave me some wen I was really bad an god I felt drunk an slept hold day an night an when I told her she sed doesn't do nothing for I took 1 an never again ha ha, I must admit since being on the new tablets an increasing my amitriptyline I do feel more tired am hoping it passes once use to them.

      Yes, they do make you feel tired, when you first start taking them

      ..especially, but with fibro usually chronic fatigue syndrome comes with it too...grrrrrr cant win..lol...be blessed..have a lovely day..its been 26 degrees celsius here today, just beautiful...😘😚😍

    i take a 100 amitriptyline at nite but i am still in a lot of pain when i walk

      Hi loopy jeans,

      I don't taka amitriptylune they don't agree with me I am taking zoppiclone 7.5 mg at night it's not doing much I just got up for loo.

      If I go bk next week and ask for more these not working very well.

      Hi irene, I take zoppiclone 7.5mg at night to help me sleep.  I deliberately just put up with my pain everyday, and except for Tramadol to help settle the back of my head and neck junctions, I only now take ibruprophen when I'm at an extreme stage before going into a full  'Bad Flare up'...  The ibruprohen is for my dam headaches.  Once in a Flare nothing touches me..  even the pain I live with everyday never ever is 'gone'. it's there always, and it's levels simply vary from bad to worse to major flares....

      If I didn't take the Tramadol to help ease the back of my head and neck, I'm basically a total head case... my whole of spine into my head would have me smashing my head and back repetitively into a wall to try to stop the horrid constant nerve reactions in my head and spine....  I practically I go into 'body/head shock'..  wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I have huge Pain issues everyday, and it is bad enough but that business would have me 'off the face of the earth'..it's so indescribable.

      I am in loads of pain when I walk as well my knees feel awful can't explain the pain

      Does any of use suffer with itchy feet my feet itch so bad I wanna cry an also my nose an ears it's so annoying an becomes painful ...I can relate to ur neck pain I get it in my neck makes me physically sick an get so dizzy its horrible. I do agree would never wish this on my worst enemy xxx
