Been in perimenopause eight years but this week ive even been scared to go out because of my symptoms. Im aneamic atm aswell. I keep thinking something serious is wrong with me. Keep going to the doctor. Anyone else had this. Im desperate. Sending hugs x

Go see your Dr have a chat ,best if you can get to see a female Dr .

Hi it's what happens to women Soreness etc it's quite common ,it's down to low Estrogen we make ,Palpatations ,yes another part of menopause  I thought I was having heart attack when meno began  frightening thing to have ,as it just pounces on you  Id not experienced those before meno ,I still get odd one here and there  but think this AV gets that going ,as it's uncomfortable ,you've been checked out by Dr ,so Id say that's what it is  ,meno ,Many do find BP was fine prior to meno ,then all of a sudden it starts to get high .Mine did ,see how hormones govern your well being in many ways ,goes for males as well as females ,anxiety is another big one .

Just try and stay on top of things ,not let things get out of hand ,Stress will most certainly bring those palpatations to the foreground .

Not seen Jaynee Jay on Patient for a while ,but her write ups have helped many female ,go look through back threads on her findings .

Don't be fearful ,it's just hormones going off ,Im in second menopause ,brought back from an illness ,so I knew the symptoms 2 nd time with it .

Going back to Jaynee Jay ,yes your drs correct  that's another affect of meno ,Jay put up a list,it is up on site ,so many symptoms you will and others new to meno will be able to tick off .Certainly surprised me what she found in her research .Admin will be able to show where to find these .Anaemia is one .65 symptoms in total .Let me know if you find them ,alleviates lot of your worry ,once read .Did your Dr recommend what to take ? Or prescribe .

      Hi

Yes im on ferrous sulphate three times a day but app can take a month to feel benefits. Im also on mirtazapine 15mg for anxiety and depression since November. She said I could try upping my mirtazapine?

The iron is defo causing my acid reflux to play up big time. Just javing a really bad week. Hate feeling like this. My husband and kids just dont listen any more. I think they are tired of hearing me complain x

You sound like you have it under control good for you. Ive been in perimenopause eight years with no end in sight.

Hi yes stay with what she's perscribe ,no meds work overnight ,I to have acid reflux ,but only with this meno ,I just have a Gaviscon ,here and there  but do have to watch everything I eat now,as certain foods irritate the gut .

I don't take any meds for the anxiety ,gave up on them. Found with myself I just ended up with worse anxiety ,but that's just me and meds in general .

Citalopram is the one mostly used for meno anxiety .Try others if this what your on doesent calm it down ,some have to try several ,to get right one for you .Families can either help or hinder ,yes we complain I sure as hell do ,just want to get back to normality .Like all illness or this meno ,got to have it to understand it .We listen on these sites. Women looking after women ,hard to get through any given day ,we all get it .Female drs get it meno donesnt pass them by either .try and relax ,get family to muck in,don't overload yourself .How old are you ? Your be okay ,don't beat yourself up. I don't anymore as I once did ,like your doing now .x
