Hi marina, I don't really have a problem with the fitted coil Mirena. The first 6 months it was touch and go I seriously conserved having it taken out: I suffer with migranes and it was affecting me ( getting quite bad with migranes). Doctor advised me to see how my body continued and in the end I accomplished the coil!. Other than that no problems, I had this put in as I got pregnant quite late on at 38 ( with my youngest child ) after I had him I had this put in I didn't want anymore children I already had 2 with a big age gap 9&7 years between my youngest. It's lovely that we can come onto this site and pour out our problems to one another. Some days I feel that low I cry it's hard very hard. You have to love and care for your children and protect them but who is there for you? X

Hi, if I were you I would go to another GP, try and find one that has a specialist interest in this subject.  I have just changed by practice as it felt as if I was being ignored.  Sorry I cant give any advice as I am new to all of this and finding it so hard to deal with.  Good luck and I hope you find someone that actually believes you and understands x
