Feeling so weak

Can anyone else suffering diverticulitis relate to feeling completely weak with no energy also light headed, besides all the Abdominal lower back and rectum pain which is so severe, feeling totally washed out

    You really need to see a doctor for antibiotics. I’m going through a spell now, antibiotics and lots of liquids, I did have some noodle soup today and seems to set well. Back to doctor tomorrow for checkup, and something for nerves. This takes a lot out of you so be careful

      This is tough, I have been dealing for 4months now, but Cat Scan and blood work are normal just Diverticulosis, have colonoscopy set for next Tuesday, tonight I’m having bad bloating and spasms in lower abdomen, and gas pains, any ideas on what to take to help.

    I've just joined because I'm going through my first bout of diverticulitis.  My symptoms began a month ago and only yesterday did I get the colonoscopy and confirmed diagnosis.  I feel the same, kate65092, as you've described.  I hope you are feeling better since your post 2 weeks ago.  I don't have rectum pain, but all the others you mentioned.  It's really impossible to function normally.

      Hi jadiha, sorry you are feeling so unwell, did doctor put you on any medication after your colonoscopy, did you suffer from leg pain and weakness, I'm due to have my colonoscopy this Thursday

      Hi Kate, hope you are well today. Did you lose weight and find yourself laying around a lot due to this illnesses? I lost 35 lbs and quit exercising so my pain in lower left back, hip, buttocks and leg is thinking to be pinched nerve or your pelvis is out of lign , if pain in groin and trouble with ruination I’d definitely try to put your pelvis back in its place ,along with loss of muscle mass. I am courious to know why some people have those symptoms with DD. I don’t get it in groin or discomfort with peeing, unless my pelvis is off. Just a thought. Hugs

      Im having an ok day, went and got all my clear liquids , and prep for colonoscopy. I have to start fasting in morning. So nervous. Hope your having a good day. 🤗
