feeling uncomfortable sensation after urinating

Posted , 3 users are following.

I am 2 months after big surgery ( resection of big part of colon, small part of small intestine and appendix) and I started feeling something weird and strange in my private part (I am a woman) after urination. Has anyone experienced anything like this/ discomfort within the urinary tract? I am planning to see my primary physician ASAP  but she cannot see me in a week from today.

not yet. on friday the doctor saw my pelvic ultrasound results and there is nothing..

she is not sure what is going on. she will consult with my surgeon and gynecologist and i need to call her this tuesday.

she mentioned that i may need to do CT SCAN if the team is not sure what is the reason for abdominal pain.

Another detailed urine test was done. i am waiting for the results this week. if the test is negative i need to do CT SCAN next week. CT SCAN is nit a healthy test but there is no other test to let us know what is going on in our stomach. I will stay in touch and share more details soon in order to learn from each other.

Yes I went on monday. Surgeon thinks my urinary symptoms are menopausal , which makes sense, i have had that before. I have had really painful back problems which made me think, kidney stone, but he thinks its a disc. Scan tomorrow for me too. I have had to have pain killers for my back. This has all been since my first surgery.

    Hi Rhiannon,

My CTSCAN didn't show anything to worry about. pelvic ultrasound was negative. Gastrointestinal specislust gave me pills for my stomach musles spasm called Hyoscyamine and change my probiotic from align to florastor.

i went to see gynecologist and he didnt see anything to worry about. Tomorrow i am calling to set up appointment with urologist.

I still have pain when i go to number 1 to the bathroom and my stomach is sensitive on touch. I have cramps all over my stomach and i start having hot flashes. I am 52 years old.

    Do you gave any news?

Thats good your tests have been good so far. I'm still having discomfort, but its not all of the time, and ihave it mostly when i wee

straight after a bm. I'm hoping its to do with the mess my surgeon found when he did my resection. i think i told you i had an abscess and a mass of inflammatory material called a phlegmon stuck to my bladder, and it will hopefully get better with time, or he will send me to a urologist. It is painful when it does happen though. I hope you don't have to wait too long for your appointment. Let me know how you get on.
