I am wondering if anyone can help me....I have been to a number of specialists and they keep giving me the run around...I have basically had problems with my urethra for 2 years now....it will feel fine for a couple of weeks an then swells up and feels like something is stuck inside it and feels very sore inside the tube...they said could be a diverticulm or structure but the MRI showed up clear so now I'm very confused and worried 😩

I’ve got my scan results and it turns out that it’s not actually ureathra problems it is the start of a prolapsed bladder. I’ve got to do pelvic muscle exercises and hope it don’t get any worse. It is very similar symptoms as to your problems. Thank you so much for your comments and I hope you are going to be ok.
Thank you again

How old are you Heather? And does the irritation coincide with your menstrual cycle?
For years I have suffered from an irritable urethra and it definitely gets worse around my period.
Have you tried an anti-candida diet – cutting out yeast and sugar, coffee, and alcohol and acidic things (vinegar, pickles, too much fruit etc.) and drinking lots of water?
I know these things helped for me.
And a hot bath and/or going to bed with a hot water bottle usually help me manage the pain (which is always worse at night).
I hope that helps – and/or you find a medical solution soon.
