First appointment

Hey,

So I was diagnosed a few weeks ago with osteoarthritis in my hip. I did think it was just my left hip but then I got a copy of my x-ray and it is in both hip joints. I was really upset about this ( as i am only 31)which I feel was silly to be.

However I have my first consultant appointment tomorrow which I'm feeling quite nervous about. Just wanted to see if anyone can tell me what they do on the first appointment?

    Hi Louise

    Sorry to hear of your diagnosis. First step is x ray and range of motion exercises. Questions regarding pain etc. doc should be able to review x ray with you right then. Hope I answered your question. Best wishes
