Flat "bumbs" on glans penis when erect.

So I'm wondering this, I've noticed that I have these "flat bumbs" on my glans penis while erect. I have these for quite some time now. When not erect, these are not visible at all, or just slightly. So are they normal? Or does the glans penis has to be perfectly smooth while erect without any slightly "thicker" parts? Thanks in advance.

So let's take a look at what you are saying: 'I have flat bumps on my glans when erect' and the bumps do not seem smooth and feel thicker than the surrounding skin.

Just wondering if you have ever noticed the bumps being worsened at any time, and what may have caused that? So I am wondering if you apply any form of Lube, baby oil, skin cream that kind of thing on a regular basis and what impact this may have?

Essentially, it sounds like you have a skin condition and if you have had it for sometime it is not going to go away in the near future. The usually thing you would expect is that it would continue to develop and get worse. I take it you have not had a Doctor check this for you ...... ?

I've added a photo. Well they don't actually feel thicker. Doctor checked it 6 months ago but I'm not sure if I had them back them. Everything looked good. But again, they're not /barely visible when not erect.

You are best dealing with a Dermatologist, and the best would be one that specialises in Genital Skin Disorders .....

This is a skin disorder, that is why you need to see a Dermatologist. If you do nothing you risk the condition worsening and potentially developing into something else.

I am not on here to explain, that what medical professionals are for ......

Yeah okay sure. But what does it look like? What do you THINK what it is. Not that I'm going to assume what you think it is, that it's actually that. I'm going next week to the doctor because then I have holidays. But what does it look like to you?

hey man i have the similar bumps wich are flat (i cant feel them with my fingers) but look like spots i have been to several doctors, one of them its nothing and gave a travocort cream and something to wash...i had an std check and came out i had mycoplasma and ureaplasma but the doc said it doesnt look like those two..just an irritation that would be solved if i would circumsize...however i am taking a doxycycline right now...can you tell me if you find out what is that...thanks

also, mine too are visible only when they are erect,at first they didnt burn and it was only one or two of them but now sometimes they burn and there are more of them i have tried everything from canesten and many antibiotics, but maybe its just balanitis and its hard to go away

Hi man! Yeah I think it might be an irritation rather than a skin disorder. But to be sure I think I might visit the doctor again. To be clear, I am a 23 year old virgin, so it can't be an std.

what products are you using on your penis? lube, meds, soap?

I doubt circumcision would help you at all as the issue isnt with your foreskin it's with the skin of your glans. this isnt an infection it's an irritation of some sort. forcing your glans into a harsh environment is only going to worsen the issue as circumcised men have this problem as well- dont believe me just keep your foreskin retracted all day and see how irritated the skin becomes and how frustratingly uncomfortable it is.

Hi! Thanks for your answer! You're an urologist? I don't wash with soap or anything else than water. That's it. Maybe due to masturbation? I don't do it that often anymore so I'm wondering where this is coming from. But if you think it's an irritation of some sort then it would really take some worries away!

I do use lanette creme every now and then, whenever my glans is dry.
